This computer works very well with Windows 10 and gaming. It has the 240 Hz display and awesome GPU. The only gripes is the keyboard layout and the lack of a dvd or blu ray player.

This is a great lookling laptop, great aesthetics, The apple of the gaming industry. This laptop even though has great performance, happens to throttle under load when gaming (which is what it was designed for primarily). Under load, CPU/GPU temps would go up to 80+ however CPU would be throttled. I ended up returning the laptop even though I wanted to keep it so bad. I ended up getting a desktop (alienware). Performance in games was not bad, It would hit about 80-90FPS in Warzone. Screen is beautiful, sounded good (not as good as macbook pro), webcam is trash. Get the Mercury White Model to avoid all the fingerprints on the black model(just watch any YouTube review on the black model)

I really wanted to keep this laptop, it is an amazing gaming laptop my only complain is that there is too much setup that needs to be done when you get this computer in order for it to work properly. I had a weird screen glitch that would make it look like videos were winking, internet kept dropping or completely disconnecting, and other minor inconveniences. Some of them Razer already had fixes, but other didn't so it required me to spend the first week with this laptop just researching how to fix things.

I really liked the laptop, but the screen stopped working 28 days after I purchased. Best Buy’s return policy apparently covers only 14 days, so I had to send it to Razer to have it replaced. I’m without a laptop for 5 days now.

I exchanged this 3 times trying to find one without backlight bleed. All suffer from it none much better than the others. Ive decided to settle since everything else about this laptop is amazing. I love the design and specs. I cant find an alternative that gives the slim cool and professional look with these specs

    Should've kept my MSI Stealth

Unit 1 - backlight bleed so bad that Razer support told me to return it directly to Best Buy and not even send it in for warranty repair. I had it for 3 days; my closest Best Buy is an hour away. I had to take a picture of the issue with my phone and upload the picture into the chat window after I had to enter in the serial number on the power brick, among other things. I have never had to jump through so many hoops dealing with a computer company, and Razer's very poor reputation when it comes to customer service is well-deserved. At least my issue got resolved, unlike others'. Unit 2 - slightly-more-than-acceptable backlight bleed, but tolerable. Trackpad scraped against the chassis somehow, but this went away after a month. Rubber feet were installed improperly and the unit wobbled on my desk until I ripped them off and put stickable furniture bumpers on instead (scratching the heck out of my rear panel). Jet-engine fans under light load and repasting the CPU and GPU didn't fix it. When the performance profile is set to "balanced", heavy loads + turbo boost will make the keyboard deck and palm rest area uncomfortably hot. Unlike other gaming laptop manufacturers, you cannot set custom fan curves and these fans will ramp up at 50c so the device is audible even under very light loads. Razer sets a factory undervolt of -100 mw, but I've seen improved thermals and tolerable stability at -140 using Throttlestop. Also contributing to the thermal problems, Razer does something at the bios level that will not let Speedstep do its job when you're plugged in. Without Throttlestop tinkering, you will sit at or above the 2.6 GHz base clock even if you're doing nothing. Battery life is OK. 4 hours with no config, up to 8 hours of productivity with my Throttlestop settings. If you're unfortunate enough to also have a Blade with thermal issues, I think the moral of the story is that Throttlestop will make it slightly less terrible. The keyboard is just...OK. I learned to deal with the awkward shift placement but I still miss keystrokes after having this thing for 4 months. The keyboard and trackpad on the MSI Stealth are more accurate and comfortable to use. Also, my particular unit has palm rejection problems, but only sometimes, which is super annoying. No registry or Windows settings tinkering made a significant difference. My advice - don't get this. It has the best build quality of any gaming laptop on the market IF AND ONLY IF you're lucky with the "Razer lottery."

Had to return 2 units before getting one without any issues, and I am liking it a lot. For the money I was spending, I didn't want to have one with even a minor issue like one dead pixel or rattling fans. 9/10 would buy again

    Beware Black Screen of Death

Horrible machine. Aesthetically, its beautiful and the 240hz display is gorgeous...if it worked. I've attached a link to Razer support to show how many people besides me have experience this. https://insider.razer.com/index.php?threads/razor-blade-15-periodical-black-screen.50472/ To summarize the issue, with the 240hz display on, the screen will randomly turn black except everything else works. I plugged it in to an external monitor and that worked but the laptop screen was still black. The only solution so far as of 11/13/19, is to turn the refresh rate down to 60hz...which defeats the purpose of spending the money to get the 240hz refresh rate. Razer has yet release a fix or even to acknowledge this issue. I reached out today and they said they have never heard of this issue happening which you can clearly see that there are multiple people who had the same issue. Final thought: Be careful with buying this machine. It only looks pretty but doesn't actually work.

i love the laptop, the only thing i struggle with is for fortnite it overheats quickly if i want to have a higher fps so i have fps drops and if i’m playing warzone it heats up but i’m still able to keep a steady 110 frames, for portable gaming it’s an amazing laptop, if your getting instead of a pc id recomend a pc, some are cheaper and can hold a steady fps but the downside is they aren’t portable, otherwise the laptop work great for me
