This laptop is excellent. It has it all.. speed, memory, capacity, beautiful display, etc. it is state of the art and you WILL be more than impressed. Best Buy set it up in no time flat, was cost competitive and is backed by a corporate structure we all respect. Buy this machine!

Everything feels really premium about this laptop but you do pay for it. The screen looks great for an FHD panel and the trackpad is S-tier. The keyboard makes the usual form factor sacrifices but you can make up for that to an extent with the Synapse software. I primarily use it as a desktop replacement (yay GPU drought) so I can't comment too much on other applications but I will note it's a heavy and hot laptop to lay down in bed with or have in your lap on the couch. Last thing I can't leave out is that thermals are flat out not great (like the vast majority of gaming laptops), but there are things you can do to improve them. All-in-all pretty happy with the purchase.

I bought this laptop for school programs like solidworks, visual studio amd autocad and it runs them seamlessly. I went the gaming laptop route because I also wanted to play some games too. However, I'm only giving this 4 stars beacuse I got it when it was $500 off because I don't its worth the original listing for the money. This laptop does run hot when it runs games so I use a cooling pad and makes a lot of noise but I dont have a problem with it. If you happen to see it on sale again, I would definitely recommend this laptop.

The processing power is nice. It took just a few days to get used to the keyboard and get up to normal speed. However, the battery power quickly reduces when I do anything remotely intensive. Anything beyond text processing will drain the battery much faster than the initial 6 hours in the specification.

Outstanding laptop. Well built, easy to upgrade and preforms well. Battery life isn’t the best but it’s expected you’ll be plugged in when gaming, can handle most AAA without much compromise just don’t expect ultra settings over 30 fps

Great build quality (but I had to send in my laptop for a fault LCD screen). Super fast and well spec'ed. On sale price is worth it, but MSRP certainly not.

Spent hours filtering through different laptops and finally settled on this one, which checked all my boxes. I had decided that I was willing to sacrifice power consumption for graphics capabilities so settled on this model, which as described multiple times in the item description is supposed to be equipped with the standard (full-powered) RTX 2070. However, upon arrival the unit has the Max-Q version. Aside from this, no complaints. I wish the description had been accurate.

Awesome gaming laptop. Great value. Runs both GTA 4 and 5 without any hiccups. Just using added laptop fan base to keep cool so performance stays at optimal levels.

Bought this laptop for double duty: school computer plus gaming machine and it’s been excellent. I’d recommend cooling pad for gaming use as it does tend to run hot on the most graphics intensive games. Top edge right in front of screen in particular stays warm so we supplemented with small desktop fan to help on the cooling. Overall very happy with this computer!

The faster computer I have ever used its really fast and gaming on it is amazing and love the extra nmve slot for another ssd.

Excellent laptop! This thing is a beast. I'm still running applications and softwares on it to see if I want something stronger or not. But the specs to performance ratio is unbelievable. If you want the Apple macbook aesthetic in a gaming laptop, here it is! Sleek, professional, and fun!.

If you can get this on sale it's a great gaming laptop. Looks nice and performs exceptionally well. In my opinion, this model is the best price for performance.

Switched to this after one month if using another brands gaming laptop and I can't compare. Light, decent battery life for a gaming PC but an absolute workhorse Performance wise.
