Ugly Green Cord Is Too Short

Razer should've made this headset with a black cord - the neon green cord is way distracting to the eye and too short to be comfortably out of the way. Sound quality isn't that great either on the mic. Not worth the money.

I usually hold Razer products at a very high standard, these headsets are no exception. tl;dr is at the bottom of this review, but if you're interested in my in-depth analysis of the headset keep on reading :)
Pros:
-Plug and play USB requires minimal effort with installation
-Flexible headband(Stiff at first, like a new leather shoe, but give it some time to be broken in and they'll fit nicely)
-Microphone can be adjusted to a wide array of positions
-Razer Synapse software is very easy to understand for a beginner and advanced users can customize to their heart's content
Cons:
-Microphone gets softer at the end(According to my friends and teammates alike, at the end of every one of my sentences, I get very quiet. I'm not sure if this is due to me or due to the headset's microphone, but this is the very first time I've had this problem)
-Ear cups in contrast to the headband isn't very flexible (I'm very finicky when it comes to the ear cups of a headset. So as always I wore the in-store sample for about 5-10 mins and was fairly comfortable, but wearing them for an extended period of time at home is another story. They felt like they were crushing my ears after only about 1 hour)
-Sound quality(Surround sound is great and the audio was crisp, but the volume is a bit too low for my taste. If you're just listening to music this is fine, but when you're playing a game like an FPS, listening to very subtle sounds will require a bit more of your attention)
tl;dr I would be glad to use this headset any day, but they were crushing my ears and had to take them off after an hour. Sound is nice for listening to my tunes, but when it comes to gaming I would use something different.

Is okay for a beginner gamer, low quality audio and only connects through a usb, make sure you are OK with the substandard features. Color scheme is cool though best part about the headset.

My son thought he wanted these based on reviews he read, but once he got home with them he didn't like them. He bought another pair of Razor headphones, which he loves.

The plastic pieces have no flexibility and only moves up and down and is made for a small head of which I do not have. With repeated use and I use everyday the plastic sliding pieces will break. For me it broke in less than 2 mo. As I am a woman it is unrealistic that men who typically have larger heads could use these for longer periods of time unless they do not use them as much.

I had these headphones for less than 24hrs before I took them back. They have a fish bowl sound quality and the mic does not pick up very well. I used these with PC and not with PS4 so I do not know if it is any different. I returned these and purchased the Razer Kraken Chroma's and they are fantastic.

Sound isn't bad, but the External Noises are rather invasive. Spendy for being of such inferior quality.

I really like these headphones. I returned my Logitech G430 because they were a pile of hot steaming garbage and bought these on a whim. Very impressed. Much more comfortable, way better mic, and great sound. I'd of given these a 4.5 or 5 if it wasn't for the cord. It gets twisted super easily and is a pain to straighten out.
In this price range I'd recommend them over the Logitech offerings!
Oh and it doesn't show it in the image really, but there is an awesome green light up Razor logo on the side of each earpiece.

I ended up with the manowar. This fits terribly. I dont have large ears, but the earpads did not cover them. The handband is uncomfortable. The sound is terrible, and no one can understand you or hear you with the mic.

Yep it's the craptastic...pure unadulterated craptasric. This was the third headset from razor in one year. Dont buy unless you want to be disappointed.

Really Great for New Gamers!

I really like these headphones. The mic is a bit obnoxious because it picks up... LITERALLY... everything, but the surround sound is really awesome and practically submerges you. My one complaint is that the headphones get really uncomfortable. If Razer had the pads that the Logitech G-series have, then they'd be the perfect headphones.

For $60, these headphones are ok. The surround sound is good! BUT, the over all comfort of the headphones is less than desirable. The headphones gripped my head like a vice, and no matter how much I adjusted them, they left my ears red and sore after 6-8hrs of gaming. The upper padding is non-existent, and left a noticeable indentation on the top of my head.
And not having a mute button for the mic, nor external volume controls on the headset itself, I found to be very inconvenient...having to go back to windows to adjust the volume and manually mute/un-mute the mic in razer synapse.
This headset, I would recommend only for someone with a small head like a child or small adult, and for someone who doesn't mind having to use software to adjust the headphone's basic settings. I returned it today, and exchanged it for a Logitech G35.

I was blown away by the virtual 7.1 especially while playing battlefield 4 on the PC but sadly after about 7 months of use the headset snapped on the headband portion luckily I had purchased best buys insurance

My favorite gaming headset

I'll keep this short. I bought these headphones when they first released, just needed a pair to game in for when i built my computer.
They are excellent, I've had alot of different headsets but these are superior. Great sound (omnidirectional) so if youre playing a shooter you can easily here the direction of your enemies footsteps so you can be ready for them.
Call quality is crystal clear for skype and other VoIP's
And sound quality is also excellent.
And thats not to mention all of the other features this thing has
These headphones lasted me years, they've finally broke down on me after years of use today and im buying another pair.
Would recommend.

The only thing i do not like is the Green wire which others have stated, but now having all Razer products, keyboard, mouse & now headphones i can control them all with Razer Synapses 2.0. And it makes it alot easier then having to connect 2 wires into my PC since this has a USB connection.

Uncomfortable for glasses users at first

I just received mine in the mail and tried them on.
It's a little uncomfortable around my head and glasses but perhaps they just need to be broken in.
I'll update this later if they mold better.
Also, one of the Q&A had said it was possible to use 3.5mm jack instead of USB, this is not the case. Purely a USB Headset. I've since replied to that question.
The side Razer Logos light up. =D
Sound and Mic quality are OK. Different than my old Razer Carcharias so it'll take getting use to. I'm not an audiophile so I can't comment too much here.
