Pretty good for bass

Pretty good audio, the haptic feedback really does help some music really feel like the bass is kicking harder than it actually is. It can be a bit wonky though for non-bass music. Also, have some issues with connecting and charging, the Razer software likes to forget that the headset is even connected at times. It keeps working but none of the equalizer stuff in-software will work until I restart the PC.

I was gifted these headphones for my birthday and I absolutely love them. I had them for about a year and I love the headphones so much that I decided to buy a second pair. The sound is good, im not audiophile but it gets the job done and probably more. Microphone is also good, my friends can hear it and it can be easily taken out and put back in. The band isnt too tight around the head so it doesnt give me a headache, though there are times that if I am not used to wearing headphones for long periods, it can start to feel tiring. The headphones arent too snug so if you ever pick up something from the ground, they might fall a little. Overall, for like normal use of watching videos, movies, listening to audio and chatting with friends, its a pretty good headset.

They sound good out of the box, but they sound fantastic after you EQ them. The build quality is very nice and they are very comfortable. I have tried many gaming headphones and these have the best sound that I've heard.
I am always impressed how well Razer headphones handle EQ adjustments, I feel the need to EQ them to bring out their full potential.
The overall range of sounds you get is impressive, from thumping defined bass (when EQed) to clean and smooth highs. The sound imaging/soundstage is also imrpessive, giving a good feeling of depth and spatiality. It kind of sounds like being in a movie theater... it sounds just like a pretty high end enjoyable setup... exactly what I would expect and want from gaming headphones.

I did a bunch of research online before purchasing this product to compare it from Nari Ultimate Wireless since it was a bit cheaper. I do have Nari Essential which sounds the same as Nari Ultimate minus the feedback haptic feature. Overall, the Kraken V3 Pro sounds the same or better. It does have enough bass even with the haptic off. With the haptic on it feels like your watching a movie. It is very good for movies, music and games. I do enjoy the haptic feature on this headphone. Overall I do recommend it you will not regret it. The sound quality is excellent and bass is more than enough for any ears, trust me, this headphone gets real loud.

Been using this headset for over 2 weeks now, and I have to say that I'm impressed and not impressed at the same time. I'm a big bass-head and I mainly got these for the transducers that these have that simulate a heavy bass (haptics) -- and they are fantastic for that. The sound on these headphones are also great. Im sure it's because of its "triforce titanium" drivers/speakers. The highs are clear and the lows are punchy. There are two big down sides to these headphones. 1. The connection/ sound cuts off for a braid second at random times while wirelessly connected via its own receiver, which ultimately breaks the immersion. 2. It would be great to be able to use these normally while plugged-in (using a 3.5mm headphone cable), but the haptics do not work in that mode -- skullcandy was able to figure that out. The mic captures a clear voice, although I haven't used it much. With the razer synapse software you can change it's settings and be able to see it's current charge, but it didn't display it correctly. To be clear, when it's charging, it displays the current charge and doesn't register that it is charging for a few minutes, then, after a full charge and unplugging it, the software still displays that it is charging while still displaying that same amount from when it was plugged in. I don't know if it's the synapse or the headphones but communication is not good. It could be my ears, but, compared to the Dolby Atmos sound immersion, I couldn't tell the difference between having the THX off or on. All other settings work though. Overall, for being such an expensive pair of headphones, they are good but not worth the price.

I just received mine today and I have to admit that they are pretty good on their own accord without having to resort to using the haptics. For comparison I usually use my 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro's with Brainwaivz XL pleather earpads driven by an EVGA Nu Audio card that offer exceptional frequency response and hard hitting bass.
The frequency response is very good, not audiophile mind you, but light years better than the Corsair Virtuoso XT's I tried before them. Their frequency response was flatter than a picnic table and no fun at all no matter how I set the EQ. As a matter of fact the bass was so weak that with all of the lower settings maxed out watching a baseball game I could barely hear the bat make contact with the ball. Sad really with no immersive properties whatsoever.
Getting back to the V3's if you love bass the settings offer a bass boost that really enhances the lower end. I listen to various genres of metal and rock so that is greatly appreciated. Even classical benefits from a great bass response. Then if you turn on the haptics it adds fun to the mix. After playing around with it a bit I have settled on the lowest setting. The sound is everything that I was hoping for and more and if they ever release a better version of this headset I'm all in. I'm actually hoping that the sound gets better after these burn in a couple of hours.
For gaming I tried my usual go to games like world of warships and BF3. Ship sounds were nice for a headset but I still prefer my klipsch speakers with their 12" sub. BF3 is a different animal where locating your enemy is super important and this headset did allow me to pinpoint their locations relative to mine. The THX spacial audio offers user adjustable settings so you can tailor things to your own tastes.
Wireless range is excellent as I have walked from my room through the house to the kitchen, at least 50 ft. away, without any loss of signal whatsoever. My other headsets, Audio Technica ATH-M50xBT and JBL Club One both start losing signal once I enter the kitchen area.
I have a large head so I often have trouble finding a headset that fits right. Comfort is good as the headphone is relatively light with minimal clamping force on the sides of my head which matters as I wear glasses. I don't feel like the frames are being driving into my skull as the pleather earpads are plush enough to envelope my ears over them.
The headband is sturdy with a very plush cushion that runs the full length across the top of my head. The forks are metal so I don't feel like its going to break anytime soon with me flexing them apart to get them on and off my big head.
I can only hope that the volume control is of better quality than the one on my Huntsman Elite keyboard. At least it has a two year warranty.
The led's on the earcups are adjustable via the chroma studio software which can be challenging the first time you use it. To be honest I've got them programmed to match my keyboard but then I just turned them off to prolong battery life.
Another big plus is that you can charge and use them at the same time. Many other headsets force you to charge only. I did some reading before I bought them and discovered that Razer has a firmware update utility that is separate from the Synapse suite so I had to download it and was ready to apply it first thing when I opened up the box. My dongle and headset both required updates and you would do well to also download the pdf to familiarize yourself with the process before you try it. I used it and the process went exactly as described in the pdf.
I haven't tried the mic so I cannot comment on it.
To be honest I didn't know that they would be this good.
So the big question is would I recommend these headphones? The answer is yes.

"1 YEAR REVIEW" Very high-quality headset overall. The sound is AMAZING! I love the HpyerSense Tech inside that uses vibrations to copy what is going on in game. If a bomb goes off or I'm shooting a gun I can feel every pulse and vibrations in real time.
The battery lasts a very long time as well and the headset is very comfortable on the head and ears.

I have been waiting for a headset like this. First of all right out of the box. Instant connection. Great sleek design, comes with an auxiliary cord in case you have to hardwire, a USB connector for the wireless connection to your console. And the microphone comes detached. I do understand that and once I got to playing with it I understood it a lot more. It is true simulated 7.1 surround sound. I was playing the division 2 with it and Ubisoft made sure to add in amazing 3D stereo sound so that you can hear footsteps of soldiers behind you running up on your left and on your right and I was able to use my senses to play the game, not just my gaming know-how. I played with just sound and it was awesome. Haven't had the chance to play it with a Hollywood production but I'm going to find my best Blu-ray and turn it all the way up. For chatting, don't forget to go into your system settings and adjust the microphone. There is volume on the headset, but your consoles vocal input needs to be turned up. Amazing headset. I'm only going to buy this the rest of my life.

Battery life is what kills it. It a great audio device, but also comes with a heavy feeling. Maybe if they made a light weight model and possibly take off the rgb as its not needed for gaming.

Buy if you already use Razer Synapse

Sometimes Razer Synapse has trouble recognizing the headphones but that’s more a Razer software issue. Updating device firmware helped resolve the issue.
Otherwise they sound pretty good and the haptic feedback is fun in lots of games.
The mic sounds clear and Razer software lets you adjust frequency levels.
I’d recommend these headphones if you already use Razer synapse for other peripherals, otherwise I’d go with the brand that matches your other peripherals like Logitech.
This is mainly because it’s annoying to have many different software hubs for different peripherals running at the same time. It starts to eat up memory that could be better spent for the actual games and programs you’re focused on.
I also have a Razer keyboard and mouse, so it’s nice to be able to configure everything in one place.

I’m enjoying mine so far. I haven’t used the usb yet but plugged in they work well. Nice sound quality and noise canceling. The bass is nice and not too strong like other razer model headsets. I head glasses and these still sit comfortably on my face which is a huge deal for me. I’ve owned many headsets over the year of all kinds of brands. I would say this is one of the highest quality headsets I have ever owned. A little bit pricier than I would have preferred, but I have had problems with cheaper headsets in the past.

Sound quality is decent, the haptic hit pretty hard, too hard maybe. but if you like pounding bass. These are the headphones for you. My only gripe is that sometimes they become 'quiet' and I have to re-boot to get full volume again.

Overpriced
Dies faster than you'd like
Turns off randomly
It's got a list of stuff to download that I'm debating has corrupted my led configs on my pc... Still haven't used any of it and not sure if I will. I did it to try to figure out the lights on the side. But I'm just fed up after trying to learn this thing. It was a pain to try and get working, but eventually I did. With that lets go over the pros and cons
Pro
It's wireless and wired if you want and the microphone detaches if you want
Con
It dies fairly fast for a headset, probably because of the vibration feature
Pro
Vibration feature (It's like a little sound system for your ears)
Con
That sound system is a bit much on even the lowest level, drains the battery in wireless, and is hard to figure out while going through the different levels
Pro
The microphone detaches and only fits one way for easy connection
Con
Have not found a con for the microphone yet
Pro
It's overall a decent headset and has some neat little features including wireless and wired
Con
It's expensive, hard to figure out at first, and may be a bit much on the excessive with its other features. The vibration tech also adds some weight as well. That is weight that you will be wearing for several hours and may even fall asleep with depending on the gamer you are. Keep this in mind.
In the end, I want to give this a four star, but the price is not good at all even for what it is. I would also expect something like this to be more plug and play, but that wasn't the case for me at all. I really don't know what to recommend here. It's my first headset with a mic, but I feel like it is over priced for what you get. I've had really good audio from 30 dollar ear buds with similar vibration tech from years ago. I can't imagine the mic is all that special to justify the tag. The issues with getting these to work on several attempts further makes me set grade low. I know times are garbage now and prices are dumb... but if thats the way it's going to be, expect my reviews to be just as harsh as the tag. You want my fifth star, then wow me. I'm the buyer.

Been using for 2 years now almost every single day. not 1 issue. Razer Software kinda sucks, but it works. Can be used while plugged in which i wanted. But if you do, the haptics wont work. its strange. I get super far range on them. walked down stairs and took the garbage out to the curb with them on and was talking the whole time.
