    Great Sound/Poor Options

I really had to think about this The three stars are purely for how comfortable and the sound of the headset. For starters the cans sound terrific. Easily on of the best sound profiles. I would imagine if you are using this for PC this would be terrific. For PS4 the lack of simple options are a major oversight. For one there is no way to adjust chat/game auto on the headset, you must go through the PS4 dash board. However, if you do this you must run the sound through USB and loose the surround sound option. There is also no way to adjust the sound profile, more bass etc. Though I may argue the sound profile was nearly perfect. If you're a solo game on PS4 you will love these. If you play online at all, they're not nearly as useful. Such a shame.

It is a solid built head set that sounds great and is comfortable to wear, however the game audio and chat audio can not be controlled independently as one of the volume dials does nothing. If not for that very annoying detail I would question why you would get any other headset, but unfortunately i cant recommend.

Awesome headset, really good sound. Comfortable to wear for long periods. Great battery life. Not noise canceling which kind of bummed but still a great headset. Picked them up at over half off regular price, definitely glad I did.

I know this headset is a tish on the spendy side, but they are so worth the extra money, they are exceptionally comfortable, the sound is amazing, and the mic provides crisp clear sound for whomever you are talking with. My last, cheaper, pair was always buzzing for other people, and were much, much less comfortable, I had to put a hand towel between my head and the headband so it wouldn't dig into my skull. Plus the only padding there was snapped off within the year lowering the comfort even more. Remember to buy for the future, not just right now.

Quality Sound and Voice - Terrible Build Quality

I have been using one of these for over 2 years now, mainly for work calls etc... Original headset was replaced via warranty after breaking, and then 2nd one while working still is basically falling apart... the Left Earpiece has broken off and Im using wire to hold it together... The original cost for these was $99.00 not sure what justifies the $200.00 price point now. I will say the electronics and sound quality is decent but the construction quality is crap as the headphone foam has busted out of the rubber an the top frame and ear pieces are literally falling apart...

The headset has premium sound quality with a pretty easy setup. I do wish the charging station was more dynamic and less cords. More like the Astor A50s

Great headset extremely comfortable and sound is amazing. The prefer brands for me are Turtle beach, Astro and Razer which brings games like Call of Duty and Battlefield to life. Make sure to lookup on Youtube the best settings for your Xbox and headset.

Ok. So, I really really tried to like these. I did. I own several other Razer products and love them. These headphones though... ugh. Where to start: If you’re running other wireless networks and meshes, you don’t want these. They clash with my Sonos setup and other wireless devices so badly that I was barely able to hear anything other than .5sec bursts. The mic is poor quality and was broken brand new out of the box. I did like the optical in, but there’s no bypass! I had no idea it came with mic monitoring, and never got a chance to test. Everything feels very cheap. I like light cans, but this just feels so... plastic. And I don’t want to spend $250 for cheap. The sound quality was ok. Nothing better than any of the other decent simulated, software driven 7.1 headsets out there. Sorry, Razer. I’m going with SteelSeries’ Arctis 7. (Had them since returning the Threshers and have been very happy.)

The headset works amazing on my other sons ps4 not on oldest sons ps4 slim which it was originally ordered for bought the adapter didn’t work. These head sets need to come with all options even if it costs more.

All these high end gaming headsets are all subpar for their price point in my opinion. The trade offs in sound quality for the "console & gaming" features on these headsets doesn't justify their price. This headset specifically is uncomfortable after only a couple hours and has no adjustability for fit. The microphone is no better than any of its competitors and doesn't offer any monitoring. There's no EQ or customization options available on the headset and it doesn't have any customization software. There's no way to control the game & chat levels on the headset. The volume rollers change microphone input volume and combined volume. The charging port is poor quality and I worried about breaking it after only a couple charges. I ended up getting an open-back pair of studio headphones to get a larger sound stage and higher quality audio all around. Added a mod mic for voice chat and the Sennheiser GSX 1000 amp for surround processing. All together this came in just over the cost of this headset and the audio quality alone justified the change, all the other components are superior quality as well so it's impossible to recommend anything in this market category.

    Junk

This is my second one that was a warranty replacement. Which is one year from the warranty claim. First one the right side piece cracked and just fell apart and now the left side of the new headset is cracked and a chunk of it flew off. All I have done was put it on the stand and take it off to use. I do not abuse my headsets. I do not get mad nor so called rage. The side piece where it says Razer and it rectangle is very fragile and will crack on you. If you want to spend 288.00 every year then this is for you. Otherwise look elsewhere for the quality in headsets. I am going to tape it for now and look at another pair. They refused to help me out as well. See pictures. I will be moving on to another brand. Thank you razer for denying my claim and making me choose to move on.

Great headphones, except for auto-off feature

I'm using them on a PC. Setup was trivial, they sound great and are comfortable to wear all day. Well worth the money for that level of quality. Nothing to detract from the good things said by other reviewers there. My only complaint is that they have a power saving feature that will turn them off after several minutes of perceived inactivity. Unfortunately listening to audio that is fairly quiet isn't always enough to keep them from turning off. This feature does not seem to be adjustable or something you can disable. This shouldn't be an issue for gaming scenarios - it isn't for me. But it does get in the way for using them for listening to any music with long quiet passages, or for even for voice conferencing if there are significant quiet periods during the conversation. And I also want to use them for those purposes. So for me 4.5 stars seems a fair rating. But as I can't give half a star I'll leave it at 5 because knocking them down to 4 is too harsh.
