Fast, responsive, and ergonomic. I tried out a few other conteollers (Scuf, TB Stealth Ultra, Victrix BFG) and this is easily the best. Incredibly low latency, well built, clicky buttons, customizable triggers, wired or wireless. This controller has it all!

    A controller to consider

This is a great controller especially because of the hall effect sticks that is in them making this controller immune to stick drift. But I am not a fan of the xbox layout of the controller. I gave it a try coming from the dual sense edge for my PC but decided to return. Also you are able to switch to “Competitive Mode” which lets you get to 1000 hz in the controller so that you can get an advantage. But when you do that, the controller does cut out for a split second and is a bit of a hassle to get back on. Overall though I think the controller is great in value and if you love the xbox layout then this controller definitely is something you should consider.

I’ve purchased pretty much every controller brand you can think of when it comes to Xbox and pc compatibility. I would say that this controller feels the most responsive and the back buttons have the best layout and comfort. The instinct pro and valor pro are ok, but this controller is miles ahead in my opinion. I love the mechanical buttons and mouse click triggers for fps games. I also like that razer didn’t overdue it on rgb lighting and focused solely on comfort and accessibility. I don’t get the thumbstick issues and input lag that people are discussing… it could be thst they didn’t use the app and lower deadzones. I keep my deadzones at 3 percent and they feel extremely responsive in Fortnite, cod, halo, and other shooter games. This controller is a top contender and I main this over all my games or controllers! I highly recommend you buy this controller at Best Buy and always get the extended warranty. No matter what controller you get, they will eventually need to be replaced. The Wolverine v3 pro also has quick access profile changing, which means you don’t have to access the app anymore. The firmware updated recently and now I can switch profiles within game :) lastly, it is 1000hz capable on pc and the case it comes with is high quality material!

It's everything i like in a controller and definitely the best ive had. The feel is just perfect and it goes with my razer setup. The sticks are so smooth and precise and customizable. The tactile feel and precision of the buttons and triggers are the best and satisfying to press everytime. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is bc the back paddles are only able to be reprogrammed to buttons alreadt on the controller and not other keyboard functions. Thankfully steam is still so grear at allowing multiple assignments to single buttons.

Controller is great overall, mechanical buttons feel amazing, the fact that you can switch the triggers from analog to mouse click, build quality is great, ergonomics are fantastic (i prefer to the elite series 2 but may not be the case for you). Basically i love this controller but since i do not own a windows PC and cant easily access one, i was unable to update the firmware. I tried a virtual machine for windows on my macbook but it didnt work (i tried many, many different routes). This controller needs the firmware update in order to function properly and allow you to customize different aspects of the controller, so sadly i had to return it. Definitely wouldve kept it if i could update!

Razer Wolverine V3 Pro W Xbox Almost Perfect!

Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless Xbox Controller – Almost Perfect! Quick breakdown: Pros: Ergonomic and solid build Razer’s innovative mouse switch tech in paddles, bumpers, and triggers Wireless capability for Xbox Includes a top-notch carry case Hall effect thumbsticks Exceptional 1000 Hz polling rate on PC for amazing performance Cons: Battery life isn’t as good as the standard Xbox controller Sometimes struggles to connect via Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Quite expensive Still requires a USB receiver for use on both Xbox and PC despite being wireless, which is inconvenient The controller feels durable and perfectly designed, with well-placed rear paddles. The extra bumper buttons and mouse switch technology make for rapid responses. On PC, the performance is outstanding, especially with the 1000 Hz mode, though the battery life could be better. Occasionally, it takes a while to connect and doesn’t always turn on the Xbox. I ended up returning it because the requirement for a USB receiver was a significant inconvenience for me. However, this shouldn't deter anyone looking for a high-quality, competitive gaming controller. Overall, it's built to last and stands out as one of the best options available. Highly recommend! If you've read my review and have any suggestions on what you'd like to see in future reviews, or if you have any recommendations for products you'd like reviewed next, please let me know! Your feedback is always appreciated.

The Razer Wolverine V2 is a great wired controller. The buttons feel fast and clicky, and the grip is very comfortable. You can also change some of the buttons to fit your style. It doesn’t work wirelessly, but if you don’t mind the cable, it’s a strong and reliable controller.

Coming from an xbox elite controller tha lasted me 6 years to an elite 2 controller that only lasted 6 months before getting stick drift, i got this razer controller and it feels great! Only thing is the battery doesn’t last as long as the elites but comes with an extra long charging cord to play as you charge, 4/5 stars i do recommend

Best controller ive had yet! I had the turtle beach Controller and the xbox elite controller, this one is by far superior. No stick drift thanks to hall effect sticks. Ill never understand why xbox doesn't use the design. Buying this once for 200 saves you from having to buy a new conroller every 3-6 months

Let me start this off with saying i had the elite 2 controller, the right joystick died on me after a couple years so i wanted something new, didn’t want to back to the standard controller, this has hall effect joysticks which are great, highly recommend, not my first hall effect controller, highly recommended in general, this “hyper speed wireless” has to be joke, I’ve never had wireless controller lag, ever, with any system, I’ve had the tv not in game mode and seen issues, but never the controller to the box, and now i have this usb thumb drive looking dongle sticking out the front, not a fan, ok all that said, i think this is a good controller, cheap feel though, and i think it should price point around $100, this is way overpriced, not that I’m sending it back or anything, I’m not, but if my elite 2 hadn’t crapped out on me I’d recommend that instead.

I've just received mine in the mail yesterday and here's my opinion. 1. Build Quality- Excellent. this controller has a great build. it's not as heavy as some other controllers (Like the Xbox Elite Series 2 ) but it's also not as light as your standard Xbox controller either. it's the middle ground of perfect. the materials on this controller are hard plastic. very similar to your standardize Xbox controller but...more premium? (if that makes any sense at all.) it is Bluetooth but with a USB Dongle. Now I know for most people that could be annoy Literally all the buttons are clicky.(Exclude the joysticks and the main triggers) but the A, B, X & Y are a completely new experience, and may I dare say a really good one. even the Xbox logo itself is clicky and instant. and this controller introduces a new hover-like D-Pad, I myself have come to like it a lot (To turn the controller on you have to press & hold the Xbox logo for 3 seconds) 2. Triggers- The triggers on the New Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless are overall fairly great, now if you're looking for something on the "Scuf Instant Trigger level" Unfortunately these do not provide you with that Ultra Instant trigger pull experience, but it does come really close, closer than most on the market. so, although it is pretty high on the price range it's not nearly as high as the Scuf coming to a whopping $230.00 3. Connectivity- The connectivity on the New Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless has a good solid connection despite what others say, and for my copy it was a really simple connect to my Xbox, 4. Button Mapping- The Button Mapping feature on this controller is fantastic! you have the options to do manually "On The Fly" and or on the Razer app that's either on your phone, PC, or Xbox. there are a total of 6 remappable buttons on the controller. 4 behind the controller, (I personally use them in place of the D-Pad) and 2 on top of the controller. I use one of them (Top right) as the "X" for FPS games, so I don't have to let go of the joysticks Conclusion- The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless is overall a great and perfect controller for any hardcore competitive gamer out there who likes the luxury of having their thumbs free of any distractions (such as lifting you thumb off the right joystick to hit the "X-button" to reload mid fight, instead of keeping your crosshairs on the enemy or looking for a way out of that sticky situation) this controller (with time) will give you a one up on thinking without lifting your thumbs off the joysticks. Thank you for reading my opinions on this controller as a Gamer myself I am constantly playing "The Finals, Battlefield, Call of Duty and "Overwatch"

I primarily use this controller with Xbox. The buttons feel great, the responsiveness is great. Where the controller falls short is updates. The Razer app on Xbox will tell you there is an update but you will need to connect to a pc to update the controller. After updating the controller I get a random stick drift, for example, I’ll move the joystick aboout 20% to the left and it suddenly registers 100% to the left and won’t stop until i wiggle the joystick. I have checked for new updates and everytime I connect my controller it says it needs an update, then update successful. Then recheck and it says it needs an update and this will happen over and over, Now I’m waiting for another update to fix this.

This is the best xbox controller out there. Easy to upgrade firmware. Easy to customize buttons. This feels just like a factory xbox controller so you don't have to get used to anything. The response rate when using it wireless is spot on with no lags. The construction feels solid in the hands. This controller is anti-stick or drift so you're safe. I hope this controller stays awesome but so far it has been awesome.

Overall a pretty good controller. Battery life has been great, and the tactile feel of the buttons has a been a added bonus. The only downside I’ve found so far, which is pretty minor honestly, is that the razer software seems pretty limited in customization options more so in terms of dead-zone adjustments.

I have used Razer controllers for many years and have always recommended them to people for their durability and amazing feel in the hands and I'm glad to see that they kept that going, especially with the new hall effect sticks and triggers which feel great in my opinion(and are now compatible with KontrolFreeks). However there is a few downsides to this controller vs it's predecessors, it uses plastic friction rings and thumsticks vs the v2's metal versions and also the price is a bit hard to justify seeing as all you get is slightly better haptics and no wire, I guess the carrying case is where all the money goes.
