I looked into all the info before purchasing so I wasn't surprised by the downsides. Solid back wheel (which make bumps a pain), steering doesn't fold, not recommended to ride under serious weather conditions. All the positives are there: charges in the stated time, goes fast, solid construction. The bad (badish?) is the charging port is not waterproof. There is a cap that covers, but doesn't do much in the way of sealing it (watch out for puddles) so I've improvised; being sure to seran wrap it before placing the cap on. It's not bump friendly. I have to slow to a crawl on anything that dips beyond an inch (due to the rigid back wheel). The turning radius does not let you cut corners at 90 degrees, but that's good since you'd probably end up on the ground. These are somewhat minor negatives, but it's great in my experience. I can go 60 minutes on a full charge with a backpack full of junk (putting me close to 200lbs). Without anything (i'm 150 lbs) it lasts me 90 mins. Weight is a definite factor. But it's pretty rugged and hasn't failed me the month plus i've had it. Also, the braking is great. You can slow down significantly to avoid any trouble, and letting off the throttle decreases speed significantly so you don't have to be breaking every time you want to slow down. One weird nitpick is I wish the steering had a center line painted on it; out of the box the steering is unscrewed, and you have to eyeball centering it with the wheel. Also, it's too bad Razor doesn't have accessories on it's website available such as a bell and mirror (Which I purchased myself, being careful that it would work on a scooter column and not only a bike). I'd recommend this if you're in an area where the weathers good most of the year round, and you're not having to encounter serious road bumps and pot holes.

Bought this for my son's birthday, I've never seen him so happy! Solid design and build, assembly was easy, just remove protective strips, align the wheel and handle bar, and tighten 2 bolts. Only thing missing to not get 5 ☆ is a bluetooth app, and maybe some sort of suspension to reduce impact from bumps on the rear tire.
