I bought this remote because I found an open box special tv without a remote. This remote turned out to be easily programmable and very user friendly.

Was worried this would be difficult to connect to our TV, but it was very easy. Very happy with this purchase.

This universal remote does everything that I expected of it. It looks like it belongs with the television that it controls and the price was right.

It is controlling an Insignia TV, Sony Blu-Ray, Xfinity cable box and even an old Panasonic VCR, with pretty much all the functionality of each device.

Works great. Product was easy to set up. Only one complaint that the print was too small in the manual

Kind of a cheap plastic feel to it. Icons on the buttons are difficult to read but, text on the body under the buttons is readable. Backlighting of keys is poor. The play, stop, FF, Rew, etc keys are fairly lit but, rest of remote is difficult to unable to read in the dark. No problem finding codes for Samsung TV and bluray player and Xfinity DVR. No remote 'eject' button for bluray player. Works OK in well lit room. Darkened room operation is poor. It's adequate for the $6 that I paid for it. There are better options on the market.

Original TV remote broke, so bought this universal remote. Programming was easy and it works great.

After my brand new TV remote broke or stopped working, a customer service rep suggested I buy this plain but useful remote to help me work my tv. It is very helpful. But I now need to call geek squad to fix or replace my broken remote.

A while ago the remote that came with my Apple TV broke down, so I set out to find a replacement. Let me tell you, this remote works great and is better than the standard little metal remote that comes packaged with the Apple TV.
