Mic is great, but inconvenient retail experience.

This mic is great. Just what I needed, however, I did need to buy the cords and interface from Amazon/ other stores because they weren’t available in-store. I wish the retail experience was more complete instead of going on a wild goose chase. It doesn’t make sense to sell this product, and not have the other equipment available.

This changed my setup from decent to amazing! I am a small twitch streamer (PapaBoosted) and before i was using my steel series headset for audio to my streams. Now I got this mic combined with the GoXlr Mini and the difference is just insane! 10/10 recommend this product!

Perfect microphone! I listen to a few podcasts that use this, and I use it in my own discord and streaming setup. Originally I plugged it into a roland duo-capture ex interface but recently switched to the XLR dock for the stream deck plus. Fantastic!

I use this with a rode pop filter, mostly for discord and zoom meetings.
The quality of this mic is insanely good (both sound and build quality).
The only downside is the pop filter that is build inside the mic (doesn't work really well). So I had to put an ugly pop filter over the mic (the mic itself looks so good) for the best sound quality.

An absolutely amazing product, I'd give it 5 stars. Though I have to take one off due to it only having the mic and no additional cables. For people who already have an interest or small hobbies that require a good mic it's not an issue. But for those who just buy it and think it has all the parts for instant use, just remember to get a xlr cable.

Was attempted to get the one with USB c but eventually figured it out its not necessary. Got the wireless one from rode to make the whole setup more versatile

I wanted to upgrade my mic to an XLR setup. This mic was fantastic to get up and running. It’s built like a tank and looks great. Sound quality is exceptional for what you pay for. I would highly recommend this mic to someone who wants to get into podcasting or streaming.

I’ve been using the Rode PodMic and it punches way above its price. The sound is full, warm, and focused — it gives that clean “radio voice” tone without needing a ton of editing. If you’re doing podcasts, streaming, or voice content, it locks onto your voice and keeps background noise under control.
It’s solid metal and feels extremely durable. This isn’t a lightweight plastic mic — it’s built to last. The internal pop filter helps reduce harsh plosives, though I’d still recommend good mic technique.
Keep in mind, this is an XLR mic, so you’ll need an audio interface or mixer. It also benefits from a decent amount of gain, so pairing it with a quality interface makes a difference.
Bottom line: If you want professional-sounding voice audio without spending a fortune, this is a serious upgrade. It’s dependable, clean, and made specifically for spoken word.

My thoughts on the road podcast Mike is that this is a really good microphone for single podcast or duel or if you're doing a group podcast there's a real good sound quality to it it has little feedback it doesn't really require a Mike poster but I am using a Mike booster for mine which boost the game up 25 extra dB so I have more control with the volume other than that the only downfall that I have with this microphone is the weight of it Other than that the build of it the way it's put together I think they did a really good job and I would recommend this to anyone doing podcast

Great microphone for podcasts, long gaming sessions with friends, or recordings. The quality is great, being mostly metal, but if you own one of those spring cantilever microphone arms this will weigh it down significantly. I also didn’t like the fact that there isn’t a preamp.

I’ve been using this RØDE podcast mic for my recordings, and the difference in sound quality was immediate. My voice comes through clear and warm, with very little background noise, which makes editing easier and the final product more professional. Setup was simple, the build feels solid, and it’s been reliable every time I record. It’s become an essential part of my podcast setup, and I’d confidently recommend it to anyone serious about producing quality audio.
