I’ve been using this RØDE podcast mic for my recordings, and the difference in sound quality was immediate. My voice comes through clear and warm, with very little background noise, which makes editing easier and the final product more professional. Setup was simple, the build feels solid, and it’s been reliable every time I record. It’s become an essential part of my podcast setup, and I’d confidently recommend it to anyone serious about producing quality audio.

While not as fancy or expensive as the famed Shure SM7B, the RODE Podmic is a surprisingly well-built and excellent broadcast dynamic mic for its price point. While the dynamic range isn't as good as other mics, the Podmic still has a clean and full sound. Definitely meant for podcasts and spoken word, vocalists should probably look elsewhere.
At nearly 2 pounds, this mic is heavier than it looks and is ruggedly built. A good desktop mic stand or a decent boom arm will be required to hold this up and keep it in place.
While it does have a built-in pop filter, I'd recommend getting a windscreen or pop filter to dampen out the plosives. Overall, it's a great mic for podcasters who want a more professional sound at a reasonable price and will stay in my podcasting setup as my primary mic for a long time.

I waited a long time to get this Mic and boy was the wait well deserved and worth just that. This is a monster of a PodMic and is much bigger and much better than I had originally thought. Only downside might be that because the mic is so well built that if you have a standard mic scissor arm for your desk you might have some issues as the weight of the mic does push the arm to its lowest point. There is a RØDE mic scissor arm stand built specifically for this mic but if you have a good one already then this should be no issue to you.

The sound quality on these microphones is amazing. We bought four of them and connected them to our RØDECaster for a podcast setup, and the difference was night and day compared to the cheaper mics we had before. Those had a lot of distortion and just didn’t sound clean. Once we switched to the PodMic, everything sounded much clearer and more professional.
We’re working on podcasting as a hobby, and investing in these microphones has made the whole experience way more enjoyable. Even as novices, it feels like we’re using real quality equipment that makes the conversation sound great.
Really glad we made the switch. If you’re starting a podcast and want good sound quality without getting overly complicated, these are a great choice.

Honestly I bought this as an emergency replacement for my mic that died during our most recent move.
I quickly grabbed it as it was the only thing they had in stock, but as far as impulse purchases go this was a GREAT one, I'm genuinely surprised by the quality of this mic.
The design is great and now it matches my mic arm!

Pros:
-Solid build quality (all metal and has as much heft as a heavy rock)
-The audio quality is top notch
-Built-in shock mount (although, it's so-so)
-Builti-in pop filter (although, not the best)
Cons:
-Not as bass heavy as other mics (but that can be fixed in post)
-Built-in pop filter is not the best. Either speak at the mic at an angle or get a cheap windscreen (not included)
-If you have a cheap boom arm, you may have to tighten the joints immensely because this is a HEAVY microphone
-XLR only (if you're on the go, you will need an audio interface or mixer of some sort, I have a Scarlett Solo so it's not a big deal for me)
Conclusion: This is definitely worth throwing in my bag for traveling and setting up quickly. It is a tad light on the bass side of things BUT a bit 'bright' on the mids. Is this a better performer than my Shure SM7B, of course not. But it is one of the best mics I have that is under $100 (the Samson Q2U being my other best backup mic).

Excellent mic for my needs, as a Voice Over artist renewing his career this mic was an excellent choice for clarity, and the clear sounds being generated is above par.

Got two of these, one for myself and one for my brother. They're perfect. I paired them with the Rodecaster Duo and some $30 mic arms* I got off Amazon. The sound is sharp, crisp, and just plain ole good. However, with the apps that you can download, you can change the settings to match whatever sound you like.
*Make sure the arm you have or you plan on buying can handle the weight of these. Although not terribly heavy, these do pack a bit more weight than some other mics out there.

This microphone is a game-changer. It's easy to use, and the sound quality is fantastic. The built-in pop filter is a huge bonus, reducing unwanted sounds. I highly recommend this microphone to anyone wanting to improve their podcast recordings.

Great microphone especially considering the price, this mic sounds fantastic and if you pair it with the right interface such as the wave xlr, it’s going to sound fantastic. Save your money on any big name microphone, this $100 mic can stand with any one of those $300-$600 microphones

I believe ive bought 2 or 3 of these so far and they’re literally awesome, especially on a budget podcast setup, they compete with my sm7bs pretty tightly. I don’t think they beat them but they’re close!

Decent mic for the price. I have more expensive microphones that sound better with a wider dynamic range but this mic will do the job for podcasting and narrations. The build quality is excellent as it is a solid piece of equipment. Heavy in the hand and feels well made. For $100 it’s a good mic. XLR input not USB. Rode makes good stuff!!

I purchased this microphone for my son. The product itself is great, however, it did require additional cables and a stand so just be aware when purchasing there will be addition costs associated. Other than that he loves the mic!

Excellent sound quality - average pop filter
The mic produces high quality sound and is easy to adjust. The pop filter is average, but the mic is not designed to talk directly into it (though you can), but by positioning it above or below the mouth, plosives completely disappear.
I recommend positioning it slightly above, as when it's below, it can pick up your exhales. Excellent mic for voice over work and audio narration.

This podmic is comparable to microphones at 300-400$ and it even sounds better paired with there Rodecaster pro 2.
100$ is a still! Don't hesitate just buy!
