Despite my iPhone 6S Plus having band 12 support, it's still not perfect. I regularly get "NO SERVICE" or 1 bar of 4G at best in my office, so I had hopes the R79X could give my reception a boost. After a few days of testing, the results were mixed. Some usual deadspots immediately shot up to 2 bars when I extended the antenna and I could amazingly make calls which was great! However, the R79X did next to nothing for my Edge/4G/LTE speeds unfortunately. It's not the case's fault... It just can't work miracles in spots with poor data coverage. I could see this product being a help for someone in a fringe area where overall coverage isn't great, but it's not going to magically turn an underground bunker into a wireless Shangri-la. At $60 I'll be returning this since it's not ideal for my situation, but it's definitely worth a shot for anyone who needs the *slightest* bump in call coverage. Case is well made with a smooth surface that has plenty of grip. Adds some bulk overall, but nothing extreme.

I can go from NO bars, to 1-2 bars. Speed tests do show a significant increase in speed with the case on and more with the slide out antenna. i bought it to try out and am keeping it. Hopefully they won't change the iPhone 7+ too much so that I can use this on the next one.

It has significant enhancement on cellular signal than wifi. The webpage opened in one second, shown up instantly. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and like the design of the case too, light and low key.

I've tried about 50 different locations and haven't found even one where the signal strength (bars) was improved over what I had without the case.

Posted .Reach Case has been extensively tested in both independent 3rd party labs and at a major cellular carrier, and it is proven to increase your LTE signal strength up to 3X. Please know that you may not always see more “bars” when using Reach Case so it may not always be easy to see what it is doing for you. The reason for this based on what goes on behind the bars you see on your phone screen. The signal strength of your phone is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have up to a 5 dB improvement (which gives you a 3X signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. I full bar improvement can require up to a 10 dB improvement which equals a very big 10X improvement in your signal!

I have my phone set th show the signal strength in decibels not the lines. There was not difference in strength with the case on as with it off. Gave it a chance for a couple of days and then returned it.

You have to open package and go to a website prior to learning that when the antenna is extended on bottom of unit you may not see more bars on your phone indicating stronger receiving signal, but I do sense phone is working faster. The case though is strong and phone is protected.

But here in Alaska it can be challenging with our mountains. The one thing I don't like is that the back slides out at times when you handle your phone with out trying to, it's the back you slide to try to get better signal. My opinion is its not worth the cost
