I average taking over 200 photos per baseball game and I crop them on the camera as I take them. I tend to go through the battery and it is good to have the back up to use when the original battery dies. It does not take long at all to charge and I can have it ready for the next days game

    Canon Battery Review

Bought this as a backup to the one that came with my camera. It came in really handy when, due to COVID I started using my DSLR camera as a high-image-resolution webcam, alternately switching both batteries from camera to charger for uninterrupted use.

It's pricey but real OEM is worth it.

I had original Canon LP-E6 batteries from 2010, but like any lithium battery, these will eventually lose it's charge. I did need to replace my Canon batteries, but I tried to go the cheap route about a year ago picking up a 3rd party battery at a far lower price. Basically you get what you pay for. It worked well for a month, but then showed dramatic loss in battery life after just 10-20 shots - showing full charge down to 40-45%. Yes the Canon brand batteries are more expensive, but it is worth it. I charged these and so far I've taken 100 times more photos with these batteries in 10 days then I could in just a few hours with the cheap brand.

    OEM Battery

I was talked into buying this Canon battery instead of the off brand. I wish I would have tried the other brand to see how the performance compares to the Canon. I would recommend to try one of those before spending the extra money on the OEM version. But overall a great battery and much better than the version before this one.

I researched a number of aftermarket batteries and with no real guarantees that the batteries would perform like OEM I decided that after purchasing a high end camera, why would I go cheap on the item that makes it work? Buy OEM and have peace of mind that when you press the button it clicks.

I was in the market for another Canon LP-E6N battery to act as a backup for my Canon 6d camera. After reading numerous reviews about aftermarket replacement vs OE Canon batteries, i decided to pay a little more money to get the quality and performance that comes out of Canon batteries. Performs great, couldnt ask for anything more!

    Great battery life with video

I mainly use my 70D for video, so battery longevity was important, as I can't risk losing a long shoot because the battery dies. This battery is great! While a bit pricey, it serves my needs. I would say at continuous shooting, the 1.6 hours is pretty accurate. Shooting clips, it will last the good majority of a day.

It's a battery and it does its job. I am using it on an external video monitor and the light weight of the battery is a plus.

Needed a new battery for an 11 day music fest in Milwaukee. Surprisingly, after a complete charge, I was able to photograph 3 straight days. Roughly 2800 full res Jpegs. Completely satisfied and am going back for three more, as I use two cameras. A bit pricy, but well worth it.

Okay, maybe not fashionable, but if you've ever jumped on to the online shop that shall not be named, you immediately realize you're likely going to end up with a counterfeit battery. I fix that by never EVER buying batteries online. This was what I needed. :-)

These batteries have excellent life to them, I can shoot all day and it still has plenty of juice left. I originally purchased this for an extra battery for my Canon 80D for videography, and I can shoot video all day without having to worry about battery life. You will not be disappointed.

Every photographer needs additional batteries. You have two choices. Canon factory batteries like this or cheap knock-offs. Whatever shooting you're doing it's essential to have at least one of these. They're all I use now. Generics are no match for these.

Not much to say except it works. I bought it so I can power my Canon 5D Mark III for a full day of video/photo shooting. Price and quality are good matches. Best Buy seems to always have them in stock and I needed them for a job later the night I picked it up at the Waterford, CT location.

A brand new $3,400 camera. I would never jeopardize that investment with an off brand battery. I need the full power and life of a true Canon battery. Rest assured you're getting a very good value but not risking your equipment on white label or grey market batteries.

Added an additional battery for my Canon EOS-r and to utilize the battery grip since it requires two batteries. These batteries last a good while, but relative to the type of shooting you’re doing. Good investment, nonetheless.

Works for a long time and does what it needs to do. As a person who sometimes forgets to charge my camera batteries, it's always great to have an extra one in the bag ready to go. Great to have in the field. Won't have to miss a shot with the Canon 5D MarkIII.

I am sure the temptation is there to save money. It was for me, so I have bought a 3rd party battery in the past and what a waste of money!! Always go with the canon name for batteries. They last so much longer & charge a lot faster. You won't be disappointed!

Purchase this battery as my second one to be used in the Canon battery grip. This setup gives me much more shots and videos between charges. However, if you don't have a battery grip I would still suggest getting a second battery. Nothing worst than running out of power during shooting. Highly recommend!

I bought a 2nd battery for my 6dmkii. I went with a name brand just because of liability. Only problem is I haven't had to use it... The original battery in the 6dmkii lasts pretty long. So, if this battery is anything like the original one, then it should hold a charge.
