The filter was delivered to my house and worked when installed. I purchased one previously on line that would not work (due to a problem with the chip I assume).

They were different. $68 for them. I struggled to get them to fit. This one went right on no problem. Worked perfect. It was $54 + $6 in tax. $60.Other than that cool.

It was wrapped and boxed really well. It was easy to install, and the filter works does a nice job. The filtered water has a very neutral taste with no smell. In our area, there is often a strong smell of chlorine. We really needed a good filter.
