My previous Harmony remote was 5 years old, functional, but decided to replace it as several functions were losing their effectiveness. The Geek Squad agent programmed all the components onto the Harmony Remote including the TV, amp, CD player, computer and listen to music. Works well, switches easily. When I get stuck I press the help setting and it corrects itself rather quickly. No issues, upgrade from previous model.

This is the second time the geek squad has come to my home the first time they let me know that it was my amp that was having issues and that I needed to send it in for repair, the same gentleman came back and put everything back together installed re-wired organized was the cleanest most polite and professional person I’ve ever had work in my home here in Charleston in the last 20 years Bravo congratulations don’t let this guy get awayFrom you and maybe even give him a raise :-)

Easy and quick setup by the geeks. The harmony remote runs our Samsung plasma, Pioneer Elite receiver and Blu-ray and our Direct TV. Great remote and set-up for the money!!!

We called up the Geek Squad to reprogram our Harmony Remote control since we purchased a new TV and we were having some issues. He came on time as matter fact we recognized the tech from previous visits. He did a great job of fixing it the way we wanted and even went as far as letting the ISP cable remote work along side the Harmony. That is why i call the Geek squad up, professional courteous and extremely knowledgeable in what they do.

Tech was very knowledgeable and quick has called to check on how services working. Unfortunately, since you last called, we seem to have a few issues with the remote. I will check to see if it’s operator error and if not, I will contact the tech.

When we purchased the Sony Receiver, we thought we could install it ourselves. However, there was no way that we would be able to re-program our fancy remote control that works with all of our equipment. The installer not only hooked up the receiver and adjusted the levels properly for the best sound, he also re-programmed our remote to work with our existing equipment, the new receiver, but he also added the Roku so that we no longer had to use yet another remote control. It was definitely worth the installation charge to improve our products and avoid hours of frustration.

the remote was setup to access both DirecTV and the smart TV functions. works great, easy to use. everything was explained and checked before leaving

I am happy with the end result. However it did a lot of phone calls to get the attention we needed to get the finished product. Some of your techs are great, others not so great. A lot of no shows or canceled appointments. Got a bit frustrating. We like the Harmony remote.

They arrived on time wearing masks and were able to install our recently purchased roku onto our universal remote purchased at best buy 4 years ago. They only lost a star because they had to call central office to ask them how to install the roku on this device.I felt they should have that knowledge already so it took longer than I anticipated which was tough during Covid. Geek Squad were friendly, and helpful! Roku works great on the universal remote.

This is a very smart and easy to use remote control that enables the turning on and off of my Samsung Smart TV, Samsung Sound Bar and Sub Woofer and Comcast HD box.

When I was replacing my universal remote, I consulted with an independent home theater geek who had originally set up my system. He recommended a universal remote which cost over $400 and really did much more than I needed. I purchased a Logitech in the store at the recommendation of the sales person. It cost around $60. It was programmed in the home by the Geek Squad and does everything I need. I'm pleased for a lot less money.

Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in regards to my universal remote control. He reprogramed a few things and we practiced my using it and getting familiar with the buttons. I had my tv installed over a year ago and the remote was a lot for me to grasp at one time. I should have called the Geek Squad months earlier to refresh my memory on what the original tech had told me. All is great now!!

The Best Buy technician, Carlo (i believe) arrived, was very polite & professional, quickly programmed the remote, added some additional features we previously didn't have, & corrected an issue from a previous installation that might have been partially caused by ourselves. He was very efficient & knowledgeable & we cant express how very satisfied we were with his service.

The installers had this installed and working in minutes. It is so easy to use that I can't believe I didn't purchase it earlier. A life saver!

Great experience. I bought the universal remote from another vendor, but the Geek Squad provided the necessary programming. Easy to schedule and quick process. The technician was fantastic. Very congenial and knowledgeable.

Dave and Tim called ahead and came on time. Dave spent a good deal of effort trying to find the programming issue with my older Harmony 900 remote but it was beyond receiving any soft wear. I had purchased a new elite model in case and they set this up in short order. They extra time spent trying to solve the old remote problem was above and beyond normal service and certainly appreciated. Both made a good team. Their experienced and professional approach to the problem is comforting. I would use them again!

The Geek Squad Technician greatly exceeded my expectations by doing a great job of programming my Harmony Remote in conjunction with my new TV box . The Harmony Remote is great because I can manage all of my stereo system components with one Remote. The programmer was professional, polite, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of programming and installations! The Geek Squad did a great job of programming the all-in-one remote control. Life is much simpler with one controller for 5 devices.
