While they didn’t necessarily do a bad job, they did fail to do the job entirely. I bought the remote start and installation which was scheduled for a few weeks out. I show up to my appointment after receiving ample email reminders as to make sure I didn’t forget the appointment, only to find out that they forgot about my appointment. Their install guy quite (whom honored the two weeks notice I was told) and I wasn’t told anything about it. Now I have a remote start laying around and no one to install it. I made an appointment to another Best Buy which is a drive for me and I have to get on the waiting list all over again.

Receives it as a gift but was over a month to install it. Return date for full refund was approaching and still no install so we returned it and will purchase elsewhere where they have service after the sale in a timely manner

Falsely led to believe it was a remote starter with the phone module. Had to exchange it for an actual remote car starter. Followed by a 2 month wait for installation from Best Buy.

There are broken clips on my dash, so it doesn’t stay up. Also, the car alarm goes off EVERY time I use the remote start. Clearly it wasn’t done correctly.

Very bad experience with geek squad and best buy rep. After a long waiting time to ship and install my "Compustar - 2-Way Remote Start System" (almost 2 months). And even after confirming my appointment over the phone and driving all the way to the geek squad shop to install the device, the technician decided there is no enough time to do it and I have to keep the car to another day. I'm very disappointed especially after I noticed the supervisor not even able to help.

I paid approximatley $300 to have a remote system capable of factory key fob control, door locks and keyless entry and the installer did not activate any features except for remote start. I questioned him about it and he still said it was too much work to activate these features. I am totally dissatisfied with this installation and would not recommend Best Buy to anyone. I have made alot of purchhases in the past but will not in the future.

The installation caused the car battery to completely drain so the car could not be started!! Called today to have it fixed and they would not even look at it today even though car owner will not be able to come tomorrow. So now the car can not be used until they decide to fix it!!!

Install is good but product is terrible range says up to 800 foot range Im lucky to get 20 feet bought this cause installer recommended it cause it can be upgraded i will now gave to take it back to best buy and pay for the upgrade over $100 to hopefully get an extra 20 foot range

Purchased item and scheduled installation a week later. Showed up when we supose to be there and the installer had taken the day off! They supposibly sent email to notify! Drove 30 miles for nothing. Had to reschedule again and finally got it done.

My alarm system was installed he did not hook up the remote start he did not hook up the ignition kill wire and he did not disable the factory alarm and he said he did not know how to do that

Can’t rate the remote because I can’t get them to install it. Can’t get an answer. Guy is never there. It’s been 3 weeks and I can’t get an appt.
