The Ren & Stimpy Show made its debut Aug.11,1991 on Nickelodeon. Totally awesome cartoon. Happy to have it on DVD. Brings back fond memories. Thanks for the time warp the 90's were awesome!

If you and your siblings ever woke up one Christmas morning to be handed a standing log with a face carved in and a wig on it, you either a: lived in obscene poverty, or b: were a Nickelodeon family of the 90s. While John Kricfalusi is not a well-regarded individual today, his creativity and demand for quality created one of the most successful shows of Nick's early run. While Ren & Stimpy is a rather crude show in 2019, it's an interesting example of how we've changed as a society, and how our norms have adapted. It also proves that even in the 90s, we watched some messed up television. This covers the 5-season run of Ren & Stimpy between Nick and MTV, through to its transition to Games Animation after John K was removed because of his insistence on perfection and failure to meet deadlines. It's laid out a bit weirdly, and it also claims to be the "Almost-Complete" collection. There's great reason for that. Ren & Stimpy got cancelled and brought back as a Spike TV show, with the new "Adult Party Cartoon" subline. That iteration is widely considered the worst of the series, the Batman & Robin, Rocky V, Son Of The Mask, Jaws: The Revenge of the Ren & Stimpy series. Ignore it. Don't seek it out. Forget it exists. It's also not the most elegant package. It's the three box sets of the show, just bundled together with some cellophane and plastic. "Season 3 and a half" takes the cake. That's a way to do it. Also, "Season 5 and Some More Of 4" is the most original split of a series I've heard. For a Ren & Stimpy diehard, this isn't for you. But you probably have the tape sets, the three SNES games, and the cut AND uncut box sets. For a fan of the classics, wanting to relive memories, and show your kids what cartoons were like 25 years ago? Well, it's better than bad... IT'S GOOD!

If that title has you thinking of the great Stinky Wizzleteats, then this is the set for you. If you want to show your kids just exactly how screwed up 90s animation was, and why "Adult Swim" isn't as edgy as they think, then take em down this weird memory lane trip. Just about every fan favorite episode I could think of is on these discs. Pop em in sit back and enjoy.

I got this for $15 and that's an incredible price if that price is still available. Otherwise $20 (which is the average) is still great. You get all of the original seasons in this nice package. If you like Ren and Stimpy, get this set.

It's still disgusting after all this time. This show use to come on SNICK, right before Are You Afraid of the Dark? and that is why I ended up watching it, but even as a kid it was too intense and sick for my liking, lol. But I had a nostalgic feeling when I passed it in the store and wanted to see how my adult self felt about it. Do NOT let your kids watch this! The first and second seasons are the best (complete with the LOG song!)!! I wasn't a fan of the other seasons. But great price for all of the seasons, 20 bucks!

At the time I purchased this the deal was great. So much content. Lots of unseen stuff which was awesome to see. Quality is whatever but can’t adjust that much from the time frame. The content is what matters. Worth the price if you are a fan of the series.

I love ren and stimpy. Since the first episode back in the 90s. The humor is awesome though maybe not for everyone but give it a chance. Especially at the price best buy is asking you should not pass it up.

If you're all about Ren and Stimpy or watched the series or grew up with Ren and Stimpy or watched it while your mom and dad argued about who will get custody of you after the divorce, you should buy this!

It's the complete series of the Ren and Stimpy Show, what more is there to say. Just as wacky, funny, grab your stomach laughing and fall of your seat as it was the first time around. Great stuff!

Even funnier as an adult watching this. You had to have watched these on TV when they were originally aired to really have enjoyed them. Still wondering how this was for kids in the 90's.

A great compilation for anyone who enjoyed the cartoon in the 90s. The seasons are arranged in a rather odd way with season 4 being split between discs. All 5 seasons are there, however.

Well if you don’t know about this show by now then this will be quite a shock. The ridiculous close-ups, gross out moments, and pop culture references are abundant in this set. Crazy doesn’t quite do it justice, quite a hard show to describe.

i love this show, i would give it all stars, but some of the episodes sadly are edited cause they didn't use the master tapes on all of the episodes. but Ren & Stimpy is one of my favorite Cartoons of all time. when and if they put out the show on blu-ray and use the master tapes for all of the episodes than i'll buy it on blu-ray. but as of this moment no word on when that shall be sadly.

Ren and Stimpy were one of the greatest series of all times. And to find the whole collection in one set for $14.00 was amazing. Highly recommend it. (It is the whole collection.)

Original comedy to go with original characters not like all the generic shows that are on these days.

Watched this show when it was in tv and glad I finally bought this to watch it again. This box set has all the classic episodes.
