This Reolink 4K 12MP PoE system is an easy 5 stars for me. I wired up the four included bullet cameras plus a doorbell and a 180‑degree camera, all running over PoE into the 8‑channel NVR, and everything worked together without any drama. Setup was surprisingly simple for a full wired system, and once the cameras were online, the NVR just started recording without endless tweaking or subscription sign‑ups. One of the best parts is that there are no monthly fees, and your footage is stored locally on the included hard drive instead of some random cloud server you do not control. The image quality is fantastic. The 4K+ 12MP resolution gives you a very sharp picture that makes it easy to see faces, plates, and details around the property, day or night. The cameras also have built in LED lights that can come on at night, which not only helps with color night vision but also acts as a small deterrent when someone walks close to the house. Smart detection has been a big upgrade over older systems I have used, with person, vehicle, and pet detection so you are not constantly getting spammed by tree branches or shadows. What really makes this system shine is how customizable the detection and privacy options are. You can draw specific motion zones so that you only get alerts from the parts of the image that matter, and ignore areas like a busy street or sidewalk. You can also put up privacy masks to permanently black out parts of the frame, which is perfect if a neighbor is worried about their yard or windows being in view. On top of that, you can set schedules and rules so alarms or notifications trigger only when nobody is supposed to be home, instead of pinging your phone every time someone walks through the living room. ​ The peace of mind from this setup is huge. Power and data both go over a single Ethernet cable to each camera, which keeps wiring clean and reliable, and the NVR with its built in hard drive records continuously so you can always scrub back through footage when you need to. Between the excellent image quality, smart detection, flexible privacy controls, and the fact that there are no subscription fees and you own your footage, this Reolink system feels like a complete, well thought out solution for home security.

This system has features on it that make security comfortable. Views of property in color with clear views, enlargements and two way voice control. This system is a burglar's worst nightmare. All captured on a large NVR for security. lGreat price and product! Color video too! Two way voice control from anywhere on monitor or cellphone app.

So far I haven’t had an issue with them, they are working great. Have a great picture.. some nice features.. that I haven’t fully had the opportunity to fine tune. Overall though I’m very happy with them so far.. I have them plugged into a monitor so I can see at a glance.. I love that when I’m home. And having the app is really nice for play back and when away.
