These are quality filters. I like that they weed out 5 of the more common pharmaceuticals. Best Buy's new subscription program takes the guess work out of it too, they send you a new one every 6 months without having to remember to order it (you still have to pay for it though...can't have it all!)

Was a bit surprised with the price but feel it was worth it since it is supposed to last for 5 months. Easy to install...loved that part.

I've used other filters for my GE fridge and they have given off a bad taste and when I use the official GE filter there has not been one. It's easy to install and I replace one a year.
