Excellent update for the series. Played g the he original across 5 different console so it I was skeptical but Capcom succeeded on all fronts. Story, mechanics, gameplay and graphics all work together to bring an all-time classic up to modern standards.

If you enjoyed the original RE4 you will love the Remake. The game is beautiful and has enough twists and turns to keep veterans on alert. Enemey's are tougher, but the controls help you control Leon to dispatch em with ease (third strike parry anyone?).

The was the first Resident Evil game I played. The story and atmosphere are great! They did an amazing job remaking this game and I have enjoyed every second of playing it. If you like the series or a fan of survival/horror games then this is for you.

Resident Evil 4 was an amazing game on the Gamecube and this remake raised the game many levels. Gameplay, graphics, and story are all top notch.

My wife is a huge RE fan, has been since the PS1, and I wanted to get these remakes for her. She’s beaten them all and enjoys the fact they are modern controls and not tank controls. That always stopped me from playing before, so maybe I’ll give them a whirl

Got this game on day 1. I am a married, dad of 3 kids and have a full time job, so it took me a week to finish. I remember playing RE4 on my PS2 back when it came out. It was my favorite game. I played it several times and achieved every kind of trophy. I do not have the time to do that now but wanted to relieve the events from RE4z This game brought back some great memories. The game looks amazing and plays smoothly. The knife took a bit to get familiar with it but once you get familiar with it, it is a great weapon. I am glad they got rid of quick time events. The enemies look amazing, bullets are scarce. Mercenaries is fun. Going through waves of Las Plaga enemies is fun and thrilling. Definitely recommend this game.

I just played Resident Evil 4 on PS5 and it was really fun. The graphics look amazing and the controls feel smooth. The game is scary but also exciting, with lots of action and surprises. Even if you don’t know the old version, this one feels modern and easy to enjoy. It’s a great mix of shooting, exploring, and suspense.

True to the original classic game. The Remake changes some parts with the storyline and the game mechanics with adding more combat movements. You can upgrade weapons, knives, armor vest and craft different materials. Overall a good game from beginning to end.

Never played the original but I played and beat this one over the summer and I now understand why this game is such a staple in gaming. It increased my love for Resident Evil more than it already has.

Resident Evil 4 is a great game with so much depth and story which makes it so enticing, and it has high quality gameplay which makes it feel more realistic and engaging.

Fantastic game not as cheesy as the original but has its own charm. Ashley is a lot more bearable and the separate ways dlc is leagues better than the original release giving you a bunch more new content.

Another solid addition to the Resident Evil series that takes great gameplay mechanics, immersive storyline, and replay value and brings it to our current generations specs. Graphics were amazing. I remember playing the OG version and getting a sense of how the over the shoulder cam made a new approach take a fan favorite and make it feel new. Extremely fun to play over and over again. Lots of customization for weapons and a briefcase that unreastically holds an arsenal of weapons and goodies. Bosses are wicked. Wont be disappointed with this purchase.

Resident Evil 4 remake is as enjoyable as any game. The classis game was made even better. The controls are smooth and not clunky. The game is challenging, and fun, and I enjoyed shooting the zombies. Is highly recommend.

This is probably the best game I’ve played on the PS5. Yes it is a remake, but it took a all time classic and helped it to reach it’s full potential. Example, you know how dominant Shaq was as a basketball player ? Now imagine if he could dribble and shoot 3s. Leon Kennedy once a rookie cop now a special agent tasked with rescuing the Presidents daughter Ashley Graham from a cult infected by a mind controlling parasite. Visually stunning, gameplay modernized. Pick this up. My front runner for game of the year.
