The controls for the game are awkward, you have to push the left stick forward and press A (xbox 360) to sprint, and even more importantly you cannot move while aiming and shooting. You have to stand in one spot and aim with LT and fire with RT, which is a problem when you're trying to avoid zombies. The inventory is also awkward, when you run out of shells/bullets and pick them up off the ground you have to pull up your inventory, (which doesnt pause the game) select the bullets, select Combine, and then select the gun. Meanwhile youre dying...

Overall this game is awesome. I've only played the demo and it's amazing. I have Resident Evil 4 and judging by that game this one will be just as awesome. The only problem i see so far is the menu screen doesn't pause the game, so now you have to heal, reload, and combine herbs, all while trying to kill zombies.

i downloaded the demo on XBL and the video preview earlier in the fall and was trippin about it then but now that i got to play it i like playing the demo more than any other game i own i cant wait to get this game and play it over and over again like the 4th one March 13th Best Day Of The Year So Far

This is by far the best Resident Evil games out there. It deffinately has its in your face feeling and when playing on a 1080i or 1080p with surround sound and large TV, you will be set for some fun. This is an intense game and shouldn't be viewed by the young ones.

This game is awesome, there are plenty of achievements to chew on if that is your thing, beat the game along time ago but still having fun with the online and side games. I love upgrading the weapons too. This and Dead Space were my two favorite games this year.

I have been a fan of these games since the first one launched on the Playstaion 1 i own all of them up to the 4th one i got this game and it was a very big dissapointment its just a revamped RE4 it has almost the same story same enemys just a diffrent look and they added some guns. This game would be great for any one who just wants to shoot things. But for Die hard RE fans this will be a big let down

Hopefully they will fix the no moving and shooting otherwise there is nothing wrong with this game.

I think this is a decent game, but as the guy below stated, you can not reload and walk, or even walk and shoot. When you are forced to use the knife you have to stand stationary and also can not walk and kill. Over-all, it is a fun game but if they fixed those defects it would be awesome!

Freaking Zombies are everywhere! Gotta kill 'em all!

I played the demo part of the game the graphics were pretty good but what kills the game is while you are trying to shoot or stab a zombie with your weapon you cant move around at all you got to stop aim then shoot and then start running again so that kills it right there

Just buy it and have fun. It was my first time using and xbox 360 and playing I bought the resident evil edition elite console. This game was so much fun.

Made it to chapter 3-1 so far, nothing to complain about, other than I wish they''d bring back the setting of the mansion!!

I read many reviews before choosing this game for my hard earned money. After 5 minutes or so of cinematics and 15 minutes of playing, the horrible controls convinced me to write off the $60 as a total loss. How fun can a shooter be that won't let you run and shoot? Why do I have to press a run button when the controller has analog sticks? Why does the back of my character take up almost a fourth of the screen? This game is just terrible.

If u r a resident evil fan then u have to get this game

You are unable to move while aiming so you can only take a few shots before having to move. Why is there a run button, making it harder to control your character during a sprint, when clicking the analog stick is much easier? The character also takes up most of the screen, making enemies harder to see and movement that much more difficult.

I did download the 360 demo, i didn't really like the controls for it, very hard to aim and shoot with the 360 analog stick.. I like the ps3 analog stick, it very smooth and easy control with it and ps3 version have better controls.

the game is just point less and everything about it is bad i have played the last 4 and 3&4 was the best out of all of them. But at the beginning it u get mobbed by a horde and u cant get through it.

I paid $64 for this game and i've been a Resident Evil fan for 10 years. This game focuses more on shooting, shooting, and more shooting. Pretty repetitive and nothing like the original games. No horror possibly out in daylight. These titles were known for being scarry and not shooting in daylight.

No puzzles. Stupid Al partner. Nothing to combine.
