For pure escapist action along with zombie mayhem, this is a rewarding entry in the long running Resident Evil franchise. Milla Jovovich is in full uber action babe mode as she shoots and fights her way through to the climactic end.

Excellent Blue Ray 3D version of this movie. Was looking for a 3D resident evil movie and found this one at a great price.

Man oh man! I went crazy for this sequel when it came out in 3d. So I can definitely imagine how this look in 4KAnd I did. Quality was nice for the video’s age and the hdr helped to give the images that pop

Okay not the best resident evil movie but it’s still enjoyable, it sucks they didn’t follow the game series. I like the whole action, Alice character. Overall a good time!

I remember seeing in 3d at the show was so great! my cousin was blown away as well we ended up having to see the sequel which is also in 3d!

If you've never watched any of the Resident Evil films, start with the first one. If you haven't since since Extinction, here's a brief synopsis, mild spoilers ahead: Alice vowed vengeance upon Umbrella and she delivered, but loses her superhuman abilities. Alone, she makes her way to Alaska and reunites with Claire Redfield (whose lost her memory when she and other survivors were attacked), and makes her way to Los Angeles and meets up with new allies at a prison surrounded by hordes of undead. A call from nearby ship gives the survivors hope that help is onboard the vessel, but something is wrong. This entry is notable for original Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson returning to the director's chair after being absent for the previous entries (he was the screenwriter however), and for having more top notch action and special effects. Sony has made weird decisions not only by releasing just Resident Evil: Afterlife in 4K and no other RE films, but also the first Underworld and nothing else. I get that they're doing it to coincide with the theatrical release of the new Underworld and new Resident Evil films, but only one per franchise? Regardless, it is a worthy purchase if you're looking to upgrade.

This is a review for my first Resident Evil 3D film "Afterlife". It is the fourth film in the series and the first one that was made in 3D. I love 3D and was very pleased to see that the last three Resident Evil films were made in 3D. This Blu-ray film has very good 3D effects and carries the "Alice" storyline along nicely. There are effects that come towards you as well as good depth in many of the shots. All in all, I would recommend this film to fans of the Resident Evil saga, Milla Jovovich as Alice, lots of non-stop action, and fans of 3D films. P.S. The Best Buy price for this 3D film is excellent!

Afterlife follows in the long line of Resident Evil movies. I thought it was consistent, and entertaining for the most part. We enjoyed the picture quality and sound effects which played a great part in enhancing our overall experience. I guess we'll have to buy the newest release, and "maybe final" movie of the series so we can add it to the collection as well. Overall, it was worth watching and the price was right!

Bought this for the new style, Pop Art Steelbook that the series has ran, another cash grab, but I hadn't even owned one and the whole series in the same style is pretty nice and they were decently priced. These are the greatest films, and while they get progressively worse by opinion. I couldn't help but enjoy them for what they are. Fun, zombie killing action flick.

This was my least favorite of all the Resident Evil movies, but is still a must-have and the bluray qualiy is amazing. Picked up from Best Buy's bargain bin and that was a great find. I have all of the live-action Resident Evil movies, but the first two only have on DVD. Difference in quality is noticeable. Definitely need this to round out your Resident Evil collection!

I enjoy this particular movie in the series more than a couple of the others. The 3D aspect of the movie is decent considering that it was released relatively early in the 3D bluray boom. Not stellar or anything, but decent. If you like this series and are looking to pad out the 3D library you can't beat it for the price.

This film out of the resident evil series was average. It was nice to have Clare in this movie again. It had some good action sequences, this film was filmed using 3d technology so some of the fight scenes on a normal tv look little funny. I do love Alice tho, and she kicks butt. Its worth watching for the series.

Have I mentioned The Umbrella Corporation yet? No! Well then, the malicious group that started all this fun is TUC. Always trying to short cut to the next billion dollars, our corporation literally started, (I would say the apocalypse), but this is more well suited for Hades on earth. And, since they started this mess, Alice will do all she can to end it. Drops mike...

I start this review knowing full in well that these movies aren't 'good', but they are mindless fun that I enjoy. This one in particular is a solid movie after the awful second and third one. The uhd format is really nice and a solid purchase for those that are fans.

I love this movie the entire resident Evil series is great I already owned all 5 movies but when bestbuy released them all again in Steelbook version I had to get those as well. This also comes with $7.50 movie cash to go see the new resident Evil final chapter movie in theaters 1/27/17 so it's also worth getting it for that.

Why stop at Afterlife? The film I'm truly waiting for is Resident Evil: Extinction which is easily my favorite in the franchise. Having said that, Afterlife is a staple of the franchise too and looks phenomenal in 4K. As I have said in past reviews, Sony Pictures adapts their movies the best in 4K to this point.

Love all of the Resident Evil movies, hope they all make it to 4k. Great picture and sound, curious however that they did not start off with the first movie in the series like they did with Underworld. This must be an Umbrella Corporation plan.
