not bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The story mode is not that fun when you play with two players because only one person can use guns. There's another game mode called Raid Mode and it's only fun when you play with another competitive player. Raid mode is pretty much a bunch of levels (with more playable characters) where you survive until you've killed all the zombies or most of them.

Meh...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed the Resident Evil remastered game so I had high hopes for this game. However, the switching between characters back and forth got really annoying quickly. Especially considering it took hitting the triangle button several times to actually switch characters. That was enough to put me off this game. Resident Evil games are already filled with tension so a broken mechanic such as this does this game little favors. It would be one thing if the game itself switched your characters when it wanted you to switch but the fact that you have to it and do it so frequently just wasn't fun at all. Didn't even bother finishing the first level. I generally don't give up on games. I consider it a challenge but I saw no reason to continue playing this game. I would recommend this game if you are a member of Best Buy's gamer's program, where you can get this game brand new at a discount. Otherwise, I would wait for a significant price drop before purchasing.

Best RE game in years.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is getting closer to Resident Evil should be. 5 was a great action horror game... especially with the co-op campaign... but something had been lost in the series for a long time. This game is a step in the right direction. The PS4 version is quite good... maybe not really next-gen, but a step up from the previous gen versions.

Going in the right direction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game kind of goes back to the survival horror roots. It was nice to see Barry Burton back in action. One thing I didn't like was how after every chapter, there was this weird recap that looked like a recap on a soap opera. Overall, this game is good if you are a big fan of the first few Resident Evil games.

Resident Evil back to what it was.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With Resident Evil 5 and 6 the series turned into a new direction but the Revelations series brings the series back to its survivor horror roots. The only complaints I would have was the change of voice actor for Claire Redfield a returning character from Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica who also appeared in the film Resident Evil Degeneration and every time she was played by the same actress this time around they opted out for a new voice actor who made it not feel like it was the same character but gameplay was great and really fun for any RE fan looking to get back into the series after it took its action route with 5 and 6.

Another Resident evil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to play coop mode with my wife. She gets scared everytime something jumps out though there are scarier games out there. Player 2 has a rough start with no weapons and only a flashlight they pretty much just look around for hidden items player 1 is responsible for most of the killing.

All right game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes some good attempts at horror and action is fine, but it is by the numbers. Nothing really stands out at times, and it can be frustrating, like some enemies not being fun to deal with and also the AI having stupid moments.

Great entry in R.E. franchise.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is the most fun I have had in a Resident Evil game for a few entries now. The co-op option was nice, although it is easy for player two to feel worthless a lot of the time due to limitations of the supporting characters, but it was still fun enough to keep at it.

Great game for Resident Evil fans!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Resident Evil series is one of my favorites amongst all gaming consoles but they had lost some of their luster of the years but I find this game very enjoyable and the graphics are awesome!

Return to Resident Evil Roots!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A huge step forward by taking the gameplay away from the nutty arcade COD-style of Resident Evil 6 - Revelations was a step in the right direction and Revelations 2 takes it to the next level! Great fun and harkens back to the original Resident Evil vibe, wish the game was longer but otherwise highly recommended!

Good classic RE Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back to classic RE with this game good graphics and gameplay. Only downfall is the the length as you can finish it in a few hours but good for the price. Would recommend for RE fans.

hard copy instead of digital
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why do you have to fall from Capcom's greed. That's how Capcom makes money from customers. Capcom gave you the digital season with few DLC and the hard copy with more DLC. For those who are hungry and have no patience to wait pick the digital season pass and have to play one episode each week for 4 weeks and get few DLC, I rather play all episodes in one or two days and more DLC.

Super great deal at $20!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked the last RE games (especially the first one of these) then you will not be disappointed with this version. The disc version has extras you can't buy online and at $20 you can't go wrong. I still recommend it for the casual gamer up to $24.99. Anything more is too much.

Back to basics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those who have been clamoring for a Resident Evil game that actually feels like one, this is your game. From the controls to the characters and enemies, everything feels as it once did, and it's great.

Co-op
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth grabbing for the co-op. It's a solid title, and the disc includes the entire "season", but makes it a little difficult to know which DLC you might optionally want a little difficult to navigate.

Fun! As expected...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is fairly typical of what you would expect from the Resident Evil genre that many gamers have come to know very well. That being said, those of us who enjoy these games should not be disappointed.

Resident Evil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a big resident evil fan. Ever since the first one that came out for the playstation one. They have come a long way since then. The graphics are amazing and the price is even better.

Better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the better re games in recent memories. Still more on the action side rather than horror. I need the puzzles back, or at the very least a split screen that doesn't look like 640 x 320

Long time fan, thoroughly impressed!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing this game since it's inception. Addictive, yes. Only thing I miss is a real manual booklet in the jacket cover. Old school, I know. Online edition is just not the same.
