After the abomination that was Resident Evil 6, this game was a good return to form. It's not the best, for Resident Evil, survival horror or a shooter, but it's got its moments.

Experience hours of frightening gameplay and dramatic cliffhangers that will have you anticipating the next unique twist in this gripping storyline. as you fight to escape this detention facility. As good as the First one.

I'm a big resident evil fan, so i'm likely biased, but I liked this game a lot. If you've played recent games in the series or RE: Revelations 1, you know what to expect from this one. Graphics look great on the PS4.

Very, very fun co-op! If you're looking for a game to play with someone (especially in the same room) I would highly recommend this one. It is a lot of fun and is a lengthy game. Great storytelling and fun to play.

This game is great! You can definitely see how they tried to go back to their horror roots. After playing Resident Evil 6, Revelations and Revelations 2 are a breathe of fresh air to the Resident Evil Series.

This game is a big step in the direction fans of the original want the series to take. Sound & Lighting are at the best the series has had yet. The right blend of 3rd person shooter controls with the classic survival horror feel. Game play is a nice blend of the Revelations controls with better fluidity. Swapping between characters is nice for stunning enemies or scouting ahead. This plays less into puzzle solving than the feature did in Resident Evil 0. The game has acceptable length for the cost as well. Capcom was shocked to find out that survival horror wasn't a dead game type with the success of Last of Us & has such incorporated aspects of Last of Us gameplay into Revelations 2. The game is the first RE since 5 to have its positives out weigh the negatives. Pros: Limited Ammo for actual classic RE survival Game Play Best use of Sound & Lighting of any RE Game Smooth controls Improved Dodge feature from Revelations 1 Interesting Plot Settings are Dark & Eerie instead of Bright. Lots of characters for Raid modes Visually satisfying. Cons: Some areas are kind of Bland in their design Broken Up into 4 episodes ( people who buy the disc get all 4 at once ) Generic Uroboros/Zombie models over used not much diversity in look of some of the enemy types. Character swapping used very minimally in puzzle solving. All in all the game is solid. Just the couple things I mentioned. Though If you are one of those people that believe graphics are the sole factor in what makes a game good then the fact the game is not pushing graphical boundaries would be a con for you as well.

Good story mode and online raid mode. I now play this with my wife in split screen almost 3 nights a week. She loves killing monsters. We have a lot of fun. Wish they made more two player games like this.

I love all zombies games and beat most (Dying Light, Last of Us & Far Cry), but I always loved Resident Evil games the most. I bought this a few days ago and have been dominating the game, so much fun!

This game is pretty much more Resident Evil. If you're a fan of the first Revelations game, you'll probably like this one. The graphics are a tad better too since it wasn't originally for 3DS

RE:Revelations 2 is a return to form for the Resident Evil series. Full of scares and good ole fashioned cheesy Resident Evil dialogue. Any fan of the series should give this a shot.

The gameplay is great along with the graphics. Some parts are challenging to do, but only because I'm not as young as I used to be

This installment reminds me of RE5 and RE6 combined gameplay.. The fear factor is is there, however I just wish the story is a bit longer with more sections in each chapters..

I feel disappointed wtih this resident evil game. The game doesn't feel scary and the voice acting is corny. The voice acting really annoys me. It's always saying stupid stuff while fighting zombie very irritating. I missed the originals and the 4 felt over the top. I would suggest evil within one of the scariest games, I played in a long time. Evil Within is way better than this and made by the original game creator!!

It had to be good to replace part 1 for 3DS/Wii U, and it doesn't fail. If you liked the first game, you will like this one too.

While not absolutely terrifying, it's still pretty scary. Fun to play with another person. Something about the atmosphere seems off though. It seems a little more action-ey. That being said, I am enjoying it. It's pretty challenging, has scary, frantic fight-for-your-life moments, and has good customization features.

I grew up playing resident evil games. I don't enjoy the newer games but this one is pretty good. It's worth a play.

Resident Evil is by far one of my favorite franchises. I've been there from the beginning and will continue to support the series no matter what the critics say.

If you're looking for a short survival horror experience put the games difficulty on survival and have at it you wont be disappointed especially for $20j

I didn't enjoy my time with this game as much as Revelations 1 (I love me some Jill), but this was still a fun experience. And it looks great on the PS4. If you're debating between this and the Vita version, please go with the PS4 or simply don't play it until you can play it on the PS4. The Vita version is a much worse experience and will likely sour you on the game as a whole.

Resident evil is was and will be great in either format action horror or survival horror and if survival is your preference I recommend the revelations series
