Rex dash camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dash camera is pretty good but the app support is horrible. I will be looking for another dash cam that I can view while away from my vehicle. I had it installed at best buy and they did a great job.

Not a bad camera it broke the first day I had it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this dash cam I had it for one day and it broke that’s why I went and bought the Rexing. It was a little bit more than this one, but most definitely worth their extra money.

Solid two-way dashcam with flexible mounting!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for a good dashcam that’s pretty solid , the Rexing R316 4K might be it. I’ve been using it for a bit now and I can recommend it. Design and Setup First off, let’s talk about the design. The R316 is fairly sleek and compact look that fits nicely on your windshield. For me, I needed to mount it upside down. Luckily, you CAN do that! I was super surprised! The suction cup mount is pretty stable yet easy to remove, so you won’t feel like you’re wrestling with it every time you get in or out of your car, but where I install it, I can leave it and it looks like it is part of the dash. I’m so thankful for the inverted screen feature! I do think that it is fairly boxy and I’d like a different case finish to make it seem more premium but I do like the shape and screen design. Video Quality Now, let’s get to the good stuff—video quality. This dashcam records in 4K for the front camera, and honestly, the footage is pretty good. I have used an old GoPro as a dash cam and it was pretty darn wide... in fact too wide. With the R316, You can see view that is made for a cardash. I do think that there must be something kind of strange with the framerate or shutter speed because it is kind of hard to see some license plates. I think that the night time recording is also fairly challenged. The cabin camera records in 1080p, which is fairly good for a dash cam and great if you want to keep an eye on what’s happening inside your car—perfect for gigwork app drivers or just keeping tabs on your passengers. Features The Rexing has the typical features that you would expect. Auto recording on motion, Wi-Fi, GPS, a parking mode and Night Vision. It also allows you to mount it upside down. I know I said that already but it’s really handy, and I love that feature! Parking mode is a must for a dash cam. The only way it could be better would be a 4G or 5G internet feature so you could look at your car from afar. Ease of Use Using the R316 is a breeze. The interface is pretty straightforward, with buttons along the bottom that are easy to figure out. The app is passable and I’d say it’s slightly better than other dashcams but not as good as what you might get from the app experience from Ring or Nest. It’s definitely serviceable though. The final word: The Rexing R316 4K dashcam is a solid pick if you want something reliable and feature-rich without much fuss. It’s definitely worth considering. It gets the job done and gives you peace of mind while you’re on the road!

Don’t waste your money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t like it, purchased in December and now is September. Camera restarts a lot while driving not sure why. It was working perfectly for the first 4 months and then started acting. It is not cheap so supposed to be better than this. Don’t recommend, don’t waste your money…

||Posted . Posted .This sounds like interference.
Here are some things to could be causing this as well as how to fix these:
If your vehicle has CarPlay or Android Auto.
The reason why this can cause this problem: this could be causing this as these technologies use WIFI and Bluetooth to work. How to fix it: Please temporarily turn off CarPlay/Android Auto within your vehicle's infotainment system. Please remember to turn it back on once you are accessing these video files. If you are attempting to access the video footage near your home.
Reason why this can cause this problem: The problem here is that your phone will attempt to connect to your home's router and neglect any other network if it has this already-known network nearby. How to fix this: The simplest fix would be to drive a little bit away from your home and getting back once you are done. If your phone has a VPN.
Reason why this can cause this problem: VPN's 'mask' your IP address for another one in a different location. This can lead to confusions when it comes to our systems as we use WIFI to make a connection. How to fix this: Please temporarily disable your VPN service as you attempt to make a connection. Once done, please feel free to reconnect.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cant link car and device at the same time. When i try link the device the kicks it off
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from RexingUSA
Posted .Yes, you can only connect to one device at a time via WIFI. It is only meant to be accessed after an accident, for example, where you would need to download the file to show to the police and your insurance. It saves you from having to remove the SD card, bring it home, and insert it into your PC just to access your files. Because of this, you do not have to connect EVERYTIME.

Falsely advertised gps unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it works, it does not record gps data. The applicatuon you download to aupposedly see gps data doesnt even work. Its a false advertisement. Cheaply built. Within hours of installing it. The rotation nut fell off and went into my dash vent. So if you do buy it, make aure you have some blue locktite or it may fall into you dash vent as well.

We are quite confused by the review as the R316 does not require any sort of paid service to work. Our product has no relation whatsoever with Onstar. Could this review had been left for another product?

Reliable Dash Cam for Everyday Driving & Security
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're in the market for a reliable and versatile dash cam, the Rexing R316 4K GPS WiFi Front & Cabin Cam might be just what you're looking for. In my experience, it offers an excellent blend of features for both daily commuters and road trip enthusiasts alike. From the dual-channel recording to the sleek 3.16" IPS screen, the R316 provides a robust solution for capturing everything that happens both inside and outside your vehicle. It's more than just a dash cam – it’s a security tool that ensures peace of mind while driving or even while your vehicle is parked. One of the standout features of this dash cam is its 4K front camera combined with a 1080p cabin camera. The footage quality is genuinely impressive, especially for the front-facing camera, which captures every fine detail. I found this extremely useful for not only reviewing incidents but also for recording some beautiful scenery while on road trips. The cabin camera adds another layer of security, giving you a full view of the interior, which is great for rideshare drivers or anyone who wants a record of what's happening inside their vehicle. The Rexing R316 also shines when it comes to night performance. With its enhanced night vision for the front camera and infrared night vision for the cabin camera, I felt confident knowing that even in low light, the footage remained clear and detailed. Testing it on a few late-night drives, the dash cam had no issues capturing everything I needed, from street signs to pedestrians. It’s reassuring to know that no matter the time of day, this dash cam has you covered. Another feature I appreciated is the parking mode, which automatically records when it detects motion or vibrations. In my case, this meant that the dash cam continued to monitor the surroundings while the car was parked, providing an extra layer of security. It's a small detail but incredibly handy if you’re parked in an unfamiliar area or just want peace of mind when you’re not around your vehicle. The included hardwire kit makes this function a breeze to set up, ensuring you won’t have to worry about battery life. One of the more modern touches I enjoyed with the R316 is its built-in GPS and WiFi functionality. The GPS feature is fantastic for tracking routes and reviewing where you’ve been, especially if you travel frequently. The WiFi connectivity and Rexing Connect app make it easy to transfer and share recordings without fuss. I found the app intuitive, allowing me to download and share clips with ease, which is a nice feature for those who want to keep their videos organized or report incidents quickly. The Rexing R316 is ready to go right out of the box, thanks to the included 64GB SD card. That’s more than enough for most users, but if you’re like me and plan to record longer trips, the dash cam also supports cards up to 256GB. This is an excellent option if you want extended recording times without worrying about storage limits. The loop recording feature keeps everything seamless, so you don’t have to manually clear out old footage, which I appreciated during my testing. I was also impressed by the easy installation process. The suction cup mount was straightforward to attach to my windshield, and the cable management kept everything tidy. It’s always a relief when tech products are user-friendly, and this dash cam checks that box. The setup process took less than 15 minutes, and I was able to start recording my drives right away. Having all the necessary components included in the package was a bonus. Overall, I highly recommend the Rexing R316 if you’re looking for a well-rounded, easy-to-use dash cam that provides excellent video quality and reliable features. Whether you’re a frequent driver, a rideshare operator, or just someone who wants that extra level of security while on the road, this dash cam delivers. It’s a smart investment that combines safety, convenience, and ease of use, all at a reasonable price point. In my opinion, it's one of the best options available in this category right now.

Rexing wins!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Rexing R316 dash cam for several days now, and it’s easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my car. Setting it up was a breeze. Right now I just have it connected to my cigarette lighter. It’s basically plug and play when you do that. I do plan to use the Smart wire kit to connect it to my fuse box, but I’m making an appointment to have that done professionally. Depending on where your fuses are in your car and if you actually know anything about fuses, you could possibly do this on your own. I for one do not, and so will be going to the professionals. The dual-camera setup is what really sets this dash cam apart. It doesn’t have a rear cam, although there is a place to connect one if you choose to get one, which I may do down the line. But it has a front camera and a cabin camera, which is perfect for rideshare drivers or anyone who wants to keep an eye on what’s happening inside the car. Also, one thing I didn’t realize until I actually had one was that the cabin camera does help the driver in the event of an incident. For instance, it can prove that I looked over my shoulder before changing lanes, or other things like that. The front camera has a wide-angle lens, and the image quality is fantastic (4K baby!)—so I can clearly see license plates, road signs, and any details that might be important. keep in mind that the cabin camera is not 4K but it is still fairly good quality considering. I also love the loop recording feature, which means I don’t have to worry about managing storage—old footage is automatically overwritten unless it’s marked as important. If there’s a bump or crash, the built-in G-sensor automatically locks the footage, which is good because (knock on wood) if I wasn’t an accident, I don’t think my focus would be on locking in the footage on my camera. I haven’t had a huge opportunity to use it yet, but I love that it also has night vision (on both cameras). Even in low light, the video is sharp and clear. I’ve had cheaper dash cams before, but they didn’t come close to the quality of the R316, and honestly, the R316 is pretty reasonable priced in my opinion.

Wouldn’t recommend
||Posted . Posted .Hello,
I am sorry to hear that your dashcam did not turn on at all. This makes me believe it could be an issue related to power specially if a USB connection is attempted instead of the cigarette lighter charger.
