This is really a great dashcam and is fairly easy to setup. I unboxed it and within a few minutes I was good to go. I'm still working out all the features but the ability to record the road in 4K and the inside of the car/rear facing camera in 1080p is a great feature, it also supports up to a 256GB SD card, so I may upgrade the 64GB one that came with it. One of the reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is that it took a few tries to find the WiFi Network the dash cam generates to set it up with the app. It also seems you can't transfer videos or photos from it to the app without connecting to the WiFi which has to be manually turned on each time even though I left it set to on. I wish it had Bluetooth transfer of data. But it's a minor inconvenience and overally, that doesn't detract all that much. I also can't seem to get it to record and have the screen off but also a minor inconvenience, because you can switch between each camera individually or a split screen while it's on. It does detect when you're driving so it's not constantly recording. Overall, it's a great dashcam and I definitely recommend it.

This is my second Rexing Dashcam. I've owned the V5 for almost 5-years and it works amazingly. I figured since this is their newest model, why not purchase this one for my wife's vehicle. She's been using it for a couple weeks now and thinks it's great! Front facing image is CLEAR, rear facing is decent. Ideally, 4k on both would be best but the front-facing is more important for those not doing Uber or Lyft. GPS speed is accurate and app UI is much better than the one used for the V5. It's nice the hardwire kit is included, as I'm still utilizing cigarette lighter for my V5.

The device was easy to install, which was a very important factor alongside the fact that there are multiple methods of installation and wire control tabs. The picture on the device is clear. The price was well worth the product, and the different pricing for different versions of the device provide a nice variety in prices.

I have had several dash cam brands this Rexing-R316 being the third one so I feel like I have a decent idea of what the market has to offer. So far my experience with the Rexing-316 4K GPS WiFi Front and Cabin Cam has been a good one. While the shape of it made it a little harder to find a good location for I really appreciate that the two camera views are side by side instead of one taking up space in the corner on top. Previously I was not sure that I wanted a cabin can either but after getting this one I really like it after I thought about it and saw the view it has it really can help you see anyone that is trying to get in your vehicle. As far as setting it up that went pretty smoothly for me. For now, I just used the cigarette lighter power source instead of the setup that plugs into apparently your fuse panel called the smart hardwire kit.in order to use parking surveillance mode. It says that it will give it continuous power and protect your battery while doing it I guess because it has an inline fuse. There is another kit for sale separately as well called the intelligent hardware kit which adds another module to power up the dash cam automatically to record motion until it clears. Personally, my vehicle has power to the cigarette lighter plugs when off so I am going to try to avoid using either of these extra wiring scenarios. To put the dash cam on the window you push the suction cup against it and turn the handle with GPS on it upward. So far it is staying mounted without issue. Once installed you can set up the WIFI and connect your phone to use the app. I noticed the app got bad reviews on the Play Store but I did not have any issues other than I do not like that the writing stays on the screen of the dash cam when WIFI is on. You can change the password after you connect WIFI in the app but it takes a little digging to find it. As far as the buttons and menu system on the Dash Cam it is the best I have seen and the easiest to use with a lot of features. Speaking of features I am excited that I can buy a rear add-on camera so I will have front, cabin and rear in one Dash cam system which is great. I will definitely be buying the rear camera very soon. I would like to see Rexing implement being able to view two cameras at once on your phone at least if not three for those with big phone or someone that may use a small tablet for viewing. The only real complaints I have is one the screen is to small like on every Dash Cam I have seen and two the screen does not have that good of colors and it looks a little washed out because of it. It is still clear enough and acceptable but it could be better for the price. Overall, I really like this Dash Cam and I am looking forward to hooking up the rear-view camera which is priced very reasonably at about $30. Despite the lackluster screen, I would still recommend it for ease of use and the option to run three cameras with it.

This is an excellent and evolved dash cam for those seeking both front and cabin views, offering 4k front video quality. The front camera records in 4K resolution, while the cabin camera captures clear FHD, making it perfect for multiple teen drivers. I never could understand why these were popular but after you start noticing things happening to your vehicles and your teen drivers say they did not do anything. This will help me identify what happened. Also, should there be an accident this will give me more information to work with. In terms of value, the inclusion of the needed SD card, Aux and USB-C cable provide 3 different options to install and power this camera. I chose the USB-C but will move to hardwire soon. One thing I really appreciate is the inclusion of USB-C for power instead of the traditional car chargers. While this is not unique it is a must have today since you can connect it to a modern car natively. They also provide a USB-C to 12-volt for the car’s aux charger for those without USB-C. A downside is the absence of a rearview camera. I do wish there was an included rear camera since you are only covering the front with this solution. If you can live without this then this model is excellent for the money. The built-in GPS and the app are much improved compared to another competing brand I have tried. The tracking and distance left are very accurate with a catch. I do like the live speed and accident detection for a parent/spouse who is checking in on their loved ones. To access the live speed and GPS you need to install a MAC/Windows application to load the footage which is nice for research after a situation however there is not cloud app to access the device in real time like the “live speed” suggests. I found the app easy to use and getting to the recordings straight forward. I liked the easy to navigate option to access videos/pictures and save them to my phone. Again the only downfall being the additional info like speed and location requiring a computer to access. Pros: - 4K front and HD cabin recording - Can be Hard wired to car. - App runs accurate and very smooth -Shows live speed of car Cons: - No rearview camera - Cabin recording is not 4k - Live speed only when playing back video on MAC/Windows pc Overall, this is a fantastic choice for those who want quality front recording and interior cabin recording that is reliable and can be hard wired to your car. Again, everything is provided to ensure you have footage of your vehicle and passengers for whatever life throws your way. Being able to check in on the speed later via computer is a nice feature to make sure the driver was going the speed limit. While I am not super handy with wiring I chose for USB-C initially. I plan on hard wiring it later to free up my USB port later. The price for this is very good for what you get and the quality it provides.

This is my third Rexing Dashcam. They only get better every time. This particular model checks off all of my needs. High quality video (4K front facing camera), auto On/Off, Parking monitor, built in GPS. Rexing Connect app for ease of use when reviewing video clips if you are involved in an accident (although I hope that never have to get to do this). Overall the Rexing R316 exceeded my expectations.

If you're on a budget this is a decent choice. There are better for way more $$$$ but we're happy with our purchase. The point is to have a camera.

This dash cam is so amazing. Very easy to set up and comes with everything you need in one package. This is our third Rexing camera because they just keep getting better. We have rexing in all three of our vehicles. They provide such comfort knowing w have reliable clear footage should something happen. Highly recommend this camera or any dash cams by rexing!

This product is very easy to use. The video quality is very good on both the front and rear cameras. The angle of the screen is impossible to see when mounted, but the screen and menu are easy to use when you dismount the camera.

Putchased this to replace my V2 Front/Back System in our convertable. Recordings are so much clearer and audio quality is outstanding. A much more compact and sleek design, it is barely noticable. Great job RexingUSA, you keep knocking it out of the ballpark!

works really well once it’s set up! had some issues with the wifi thing but once you figure it out it works great and has great features!

Rexing - R316 4K GPS WiFi Front & Cabin Cam is small. You barley notice it. Good images and features.

I bought this to capture those crazy moments when driving to be able to use for content creation. Also got it for security purposes. It’s easy to set up on the windshield and then run the lengthy power cable discreetly to the car charger power source. No need to hardwire it. The images on the front and cabin cameras are crisp and with very wide angle to see everything. The microphone picks up everything clearly. Downloading the content by taking the micro SD card out of the camera and then into the computer is super easy. It allows you to save by selecting which camera view you wanted. I definitely recommend this product and will soon get another one for my other vehicle.

Easy to set up. Connection to wifi was simple and connected on first try. Salesman was able to answer my question and made suggestions.

Injust bought the Rexing R316. It was easy to install, clear instructions on how to operate it. The recordings have an awesome quality, specially at night!!!

Great product, easy registration and great quality

Just picked up the camera and had it professionally installed by Mike at Best Buy. It works great! I love the resolution, and the peace f mind it will give me just in case the worse happens. Had a little trouble with the app, but managed to persevere and all is great!

Got this as an open box, and it works well. The only drawback is that the wire kit came with cut wires, so I'm not able to use the 24-hour surveillance feature.

I i've had this camera for over three months now, and it is the best addition to my car yet. It has already gotten me out of a sticky situation where someone hit my car and the quality is very good. The interface and getting video off of the camera is really easy too. Would definitely recommend if on the market for a dash cam.

Used AI for research into what was the best Dash Cam for the under $200 range and this was rated the best. Am pleased with the look of it and happy with an extended warranty of 18 months.
