Great in the beginning

Wall mount only

Had to return it because of the design being wall-mount only. Also, the floodlights I intended to replace are 16’ high due to the size of my house. The recommended installation height is 8’. I went with the Arlo Pro 3 and absolutely love it.

Ring floodlight

Have tried several troubleshooting steps, still no better. Seems for the price it would have lasted a little longer. Would suggest looking at other security cameras.

Tired of waiting for the feed

However I have some issues with the product. don’t like how long it takes to pull up the video live feed or to process the footage after the motion alert. So it’s good for surveillance but awful for real time and recent time footage. Including the doorbell.

decent.

They basically force you into the monthly monitored plan if you want to be able to record anything at all. Not cool. Should have the option. They should make that more known up front.

Disappointed

The ring doesn’t keep events like the swann did without subscription. Also the light On the ring is not disable. It sure if I’ll keep it up or return it at this point. The swann has app that does almost the exact same thing without cost
