Camera works good, but not service

Camera works good, only issue is that by the time you are able to pull up the image, whatever made the alarm go off is gone. So you have to pull up the history. But that's takes several minutes for the l image to show up in your history and by then it's too late.

Keeps dropping connection with the internet. when it signals a motion cant see who or what triggered motion sensor. when you open app it says it processing video and shuts down real time viewing. by the time it processes the person or animal has left.

It’s ok I guess sometimes night vision looks like it snowed on my grass but my grass is green. Takes a while for video to show up in my video like 30 seconds or more. I have mine hard wired thank God for that.

Camera works well. Audio quality is questionable due the the height in which it is mounted. Customer Service has been great when concerns arise. There are some false triggers from vehicle headlights when they drive past.

These run on wifi and hardwired electricity. If you have a poor wifi connection the picture is terrible. If you lose power or wifi these are useless. But it is nice to be able to watch the cameras from anywhere when not home. Can also talk to people through them.

The idea of having wireless security cameras intrigued me. We installed 3 floodlight cameras 1 front one back and one on the shop. I have had to extended wi-Fi which wasn’t cheap and still have spotty coverage (all other wi-Fi reception around house is strong.

After a while there are little issues with the dependable functionality of this product. Contact with ring is of little to no help because it seems that it is all thrown back on the owner after the purchase.

This one is working well, easier to set up than the previous one that this one replaced. The first one locked up and could not be re-set. I hope this one will last longer than the one it is replacing.

This product has a good concept but does not work consistently. I hard wired so light works okay but viewing the pictures on my phone or computer is very troubled. They go office line every few days. The WI FI is working because it shows up on my computer as online, but this camera goes off line any way. So if you like a product were it is easy to get customer service for issues and works consistently, this is not for you. Also, when it goes off line a blue light flashes so anyone passing by know your camera is not working.

Useless, must join Ring protection plan

I had installed this camera for the last 30 day. I understood I will not be able to download video or fix image without the Ring pritection plan. I would be ok with the device, as long I can review the image or video within the 24 hour period or some form of duration, but as it turn out, the first 30 day was a trail period, i must pay and join the protection plan ( afterward), in order for me to look at any image. For that, it is total useless for me, yes, i can review and look at live image, but anything happen a few min ago, will not show. I also own Arlo and Nest cam, both of those camera allow some form of look back, without pay for the protection plan. So, if you do not wish to pay a monthly fee, look else where.

Well seemed like a good idea at first. Bought this to go on the garage but never installed it after realizing that you have to pay for a monthly subscription to see any video footage. You can activate the camera and view remotely but that's it. If you want to see what caused the motion alert you will have to pay Amazon for that feature. They also sell the data to police departments and have the ability to run facial recognition on all the footage stored on the pay access servers. Not really a citizen friendly system. More of a monitoring tool to keep tabs on the cameras owner.
