Oh no, this doesn't sound right. Do you happen to know what your upload speed is? You can check by visiting www.bandwidthplace.com on your cell phone, and running a speed test right next to where your Ring Doorbell is installed. We also recommend running a speed test right next to your router and comparing the two speeds. Sometimes, even with high internet speeds, the connection isn't as strong at the front of the house. It is important to us that you are able to rely on your Ring Floodlight Cam for home security. This camera should remain connected to your wifi network without interruptions. Now that we are aware of your situation, we'd like to offer you our help.
If your camera is mounted too high, its possible the wifi is struggling to reach it. Do you have a wifi extender to help? If not, consider a Ring Chime Pro. These extenders can help reach otherwise hard to reach areas of your home.
Alternatively, you can move your router to an area more central to in your home. For example, an open counter or table-top which is free of other electronics is a great place to start. Once relocated, cut the power to your camera, then turn it back on. It will automatically reconnect to the wifi network.
