I also feel like my children’s camera may have been hacked. The audio turned on without any of us using it. Then the camera shut down. I changed the name of the camera. Thinking that would help. Only to find out someone actually experienced an outsider speaking to their child through the camera. I would love to return these and get a different brand.

Posted .Hi Nikki, we know how important it is to protect the safety and privacy of your family. Only the owner of a Ring device can access the Live View and use the two-way audio. Ring Cameras and Doorbells can be shared with Shared Users, allowing them access to the Live View, but this is entirely up to the owner of the device. Given that you're experiencing some delays and audio concerns, I'd first recommend checking that the Indoor Cam is receiving a strong wifi signal https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Wifi-Signal-Strength. A good internet connection is important for your Camera's performance. Gets a good view of driveway from above, without being obvious. Downside, any glare from neighbors flood light blinds this. Have to angle it just right.
