Its an OK camera, occasionally I have connectivity issues which seems to happen more since I decided to not pay $10 a month. The camera on the device is set to exactly the price paid so for that its a good value however the quality suffers as does the picture value. The microphone works good as does the speaker. I'm not really impressed with Ring. If I were to do it over, I would have done more research on other brands. If you want immediate monitoring at an affordable price this is the unit.

The quickest way to speed up Live View is to start using our Rapid Ring app. This new app is intended to connect you to your video events in a much quicker way than before.
To download the Rapid Ring app, please visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Once there, search for Rapid Ring and click on the blue logo with the white bell. Please note, you’ll still need the original Ring app to make device changes and view video recordings.
