We always need to set it up

If your power goes out or your home wifi network goes down, depending on how long your Indoor Cam has been disconnected from the network, your Indoor Cam should reconnect on its own without you having to manually reset it each time. If it does not, here are step by step instructions for reconnecting your device. A few things before we get started:
You will need to be in the same location as your Ring product to do this.
You will only have access to this option if you are the "Owner" of the device. If you are a "Shared User" the "Owner" of the Ring product will need to reconnect it to the wifi network
To do this, navigate to Device Health for any Ring product that is offline by selecting the product in the main dashboard of the Ring app, then selecting Device Health. Once you're on the Device Health screen, select Reconnect to wifi and follow the in-app prompts.

This one is only good for areas that have lights on. Sonic there is any movement at night when lights are on, it won’t detect anything.
