One camera kept freezing and the trial subscription to the services was already expired. The other is still registered to another person, so it can't be used for 15 days until Ring can either get the previous owner to release it or they do it. You're only going to get someone else's headache with there "refurbished" cameras. They don't even bother to reset to ownership.

If you got a message saying that your Ring device is registered to someone else, this means at some point, another person started the setup process in the Ring app. If you purchased it from a retailer, you should return the device and request a replacement.
