The rig doorbell is very easy to install. I highly recommend this for the security of your home. I really like being able to hear, motion, view and speak to who’s at your door without opening your door. Great product.

Installation took me 15 mins, very easy and user friendly. Love that it came with different colored trim rings. The camera is very wide angle and I was able to set the alert boundaries to my entire yard and driveway. The ring app is great and I like seeing what is going on in the neighborhood since you can report any suspicious activity to other users with the app near you. Video quality is great! Night time suffers a bit but that is to be expected since the technology just isn't quite there. When walking up to the porch at night the picture will look all white while the camera focuses to the new object. If you're quick and make lots of sudden movements the camera would definitely have a hard time capturing a decent image at night.

The Ring Doorbell is easy to configure with the app and I like the ability to set the motion detection zone. The picture quality lacks the clarity up close that I was hoping for and the app is not as responsive as I would like when motion is detected for brining up the currently recorded video. This may be based on my ISP and connection speed although I have a fast cable connection. The description of the bundle does not sufficiently explain that the Chime is a WIFI network extender. It provides a stronger signal for doorbells too far away from your router. The installation instructions only shows to locate it between your router and the doorbell. I had to research what the chime did online after the installation at which time I removed it as it adds latency to the WIFI connection.

When I first setup the doorbell, I had it connected to my 2.4GHz network, which displayed some pixelation and audio was choppy at best. I then reconfigured it for my 5GHz network and both video and audio quality were flawless. On 2.4GHz, I was still pulling a strong signal (around -62dBm) as my closest AP was only about 16 feet away, but the throughput speed was degrading to about 24-28Mbps due to my brickwork. At the same spot, 5GHz was around -54 dBm and around 180Mbps throughput. The 5GHz compatibility is the main reason why I choose the Pro over the cheaper Video Doorbell 2, and I am so happy I did. The fully customizable motion zones of the Pro is also a very nice upgrade. It was super easy to setup and the monitoring is great.

I love this video doorbell and chime bundle! It provides peace of mind as an extra layer of security for my home. I know exactly when packages are delivered, when my high schooler comes and goes, who is visiting my house and when the neighbors dog gets loose. Paired with my echo show, I can see the ft door from my kitchen and decide if I want to answer the door or not (darn solicitors!!). The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it needs some tweaking to not keep setting off alarms when cars drive by. Especially at night it catches headlight reflections and alerts me. I changed it to people only mode and that has helped but now the notifications are later- like the delivery person is already leaving by the time I get a notification. I have to keep playing with it to get a balance I guess. Overall still very much worth it and I only wish I had bought it sooner!

I love the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and use it with a Chime Pro, which is set up in my home office. The unit works well, and was very easy to install thanks to the excellent instructions provided. Ring also supplied all of the tools needed to complete the installation, as well as optional face plates for the unit. It was easy to configure it to connect to my home network, using a smartphone (iPhone). The only thing I would note is that there is a few second delay between when someone rings the bell and you hear the chime and see the video appearing on you smart home device, such as an iPhone or Amazon Echo Show.

I love the combo kit with the chime! Our dogs used to bark at the old doorbell. Now that I can change the motion chime and ring chime, they don't even know someone is at the door. That was worth the purchase right there. The video doorbell works perfectly too. No batteries to ever change. Love the ability to change the motion detection area and talk to a visitor through the app without having to open the door. The installation instructions were super easy. It walked you through each section and everything was labeled well. Highly recommend...actually I have. I've told several of my friends about it.

I am thoroughly impressed by the Ring video doorbell and chime bundle I purchased from Best Buy. It was easy to order, to pick up from the store and then install. I installed it myself after reading the instructions and then looking at youtube.com videos. Now I can really see what is happening at my front door and am alerted to movement in my yard area. Being able to select the desired chime sound was easy and many selections to choose from. I can now see when delivery men just "toss" my packages at my house (as exampled by my attached file). I also was able to link it to my smart house and view alerts on my cell phone, pc and tablet. Great product. Thank you best buy!

Outstanding product with supersensitive motion detector And excellent 1080 video quality in daylight and at night time. Very complete installation package. Ring hit a homerun on this one.

We have been on the fence about purchasing this. We have friends who have one and really like it. So when we saw this bundled with the show we figured now was a good time to try it. We have really liked it so far. The only drawback is that it is so sensitive it reports motion at our front door when cars go down our street . But one good aspect of this is, my niece has her first boyfriend and Auntie was able to watch him drive up and get out and open her door for her.Rare in this day and age! She was embarrassed that we could watch but I told her its just another way Auntie Wendi could keep an eye out for her.☺️

I purchased this item for my brothers home as a form of addition security and protection for his home. Installation was a little tricky on an older home with equally older doorbell wiring. In fact, the wiring on one door literally broke off during installation and the open was too small to use the extension wires include in the kits. The video quality is great, and the motion detection also yet also a little sensitive so expect frequent notifications on nearby cars, trees swaying, dogs, walkers, in addition to visitors. In summary, this purchase was a great investment and I would highly recommend and purchase again.

Installation was easy and I was up and running quickly. It has a bit of a lag from when someone rings the doorbell and the actual doorbell in the house goes off. Maybe a second or so. There is also a lag from when the motion is detected and you can get the feed. But all in all, I am looking forward to the spotlight going on sale so I can add that. You need to get a ring account to take real advantage of this and the cheapest is $30 a year. For $100 a year you get everything and can even hook up their alarm and multiple cameras.

Very easy installation and setup. The angle mount helped out greatly with the view of the video. Camera quality pretty good and clear. Night vision surprising clear.

I bought my 1st ring doorbell November of 2018 and absolutely loved it. My husband installed it for me and I ran threw all the steps on my phone to connect it to my WiFi. It was super easy! I love the options it gives you for notifications and picking which area in the cameras view I want to be notified about. I saw that the ring was going to be on sale on Black Friday and decided I wanted another for the back of my house. I really doubt that it will ever really be used as a actual doorbell but I like that I will be able to see what’s going on in my backyard as well. Definitely worth the money.

I found the Pro version easy to install by using your existing doorbell wiring. Included was a device to add to your existing bell wiring which ensures you have enough power to supply the Ring device. After following the wiring instructions to install the doorbell I then installed the Ring App on my PC, plug in the chime and connect the chime to my wireless network. Once that was done then you can connect the Ring doorbell to the chime which is acting as an interface to your wireless internet. Works very well and you can adjust the motion detector and area so that you don't get false alarms. The camera is very sharp and works in the nighttime.

The Ring Doorbell Pro works awesome. Two solicitors knocked on our door and using the talk feature I asked to see their permit, they left. Also it's easy to adjust the sensitivity and your detection zone too. The installation was easy, using the same wiring from our old doorbell, and also attaching the piece to our mechanical bell (ding dong) it works awesome. I used the two angle plates, to angle it up and angle it inward towards the door, It's also funny to see the wildlife that comes up to your porch. I highly recommend this item, the Ring Doorbell Pro. Video is 1080p and the night vision works nice too. Nice wide angle, 160 deg. angle.

This is a really convenient product. It allows you to see who’s outside, and it really makes my wife feel secure at home. It also keeps people from knocking on the door. Well after that keeps him from knocking. We have two dogs, so every knock on the door as a fiasco in our house. So if this doorbell keeps one person from knocking, it’s already made its value. The chime is a nice feature as well. It also helps extend the signal, if your network router is not near the door. I was pretty pleased with this. It works pretty well. It’s also pretty easy to use. And I think that is one of its best feature set

So far so good. Using it for 10 days. Sensor & video quality is good. Easy setup. Only drawback is it takes time to show up the video when someone at the door. WIFI signal strength check through the ring app says good

pros: video pretty clear installation is not difficult easy to use cons: there are some lag opening the app and show the video doesn't record what exactly what trigger the motion alert, would be good if buffer a few seconds

The picture qualty and video quality are very good. Sound quality is average with background noise tending to interfere. It took several days to dial in the motion zone and sensitivity but once that was locked in it operates only when it detects movement. The chime is a nice feature but it is loud even at minimum volume. It would be nice if the volume had a slide adjustment instead of steps. The WiFi repeater had to be tested in several locations to find maximum signal strength. The controls under Health help to determine the signal strength between the Chime/Repeater and the router and the Chime/ Repeater and the Video Doorbell. Installation was fast and simple with everything needed for the install included in the box but the set up needs to be finessed and fine tuned for your location.
