For what you pay and the fact that you get to keep it it’s an awesome product! I’ve seen everyone that comes to my front door clearly and it covers my whole front yard!

not to happy with door bell. but I doo like the fact you can see someone at the front door. bad side is its always delayed way after the fact someone is there. another bad side if your front door has entry way that's covered ring can not adjust to the bright light outside the walk way blinding the view its been going on for 3 years now and not fixing the problem.

Wi fi pairing is a pain. Fish eye lenses works well on front or side of door. Software works well after installation

After hardwiring the doorbell to where our existing doorbell was, we immediately noticed the poor video quality and the tunnel vision. It constantly looks like there is a huge glare, even though our home faces north and is almost always shaded in that area. I contacted Ring and explained the situation. They informed me that I needed to purchase a wifi extender. I did that and still saw no improvement with the video quality. Called Ring customer service again and was then told that I needed to purchase the wedge kit. I again followed their recommendations and after installing the wedge kit with 3 wedges, we again saw no improvement. So, I called back to their customer service and was told that since our entry way is "like a hallway", we will never be able to have better video quality because the walls to our house cause overexposure. It sure would have been nice to know this information right away, before investing more money into trying to fix this issue.

But if you expectation is for surveillance it may not be. Just replace you existing ring bell, chime will continue to work.

Very happy with my doorbell. It gives you peace of mind not having to open the door to talk to who is on the other side.

I love this device, I’m looking forward to purchasing a second one maybe the floodlight Unit, it’s very nice...

If your front door has any sort of overhanging porch, your contrast will be terrible...meaning you will be able to see up close under your porch but everything outside of the porch will be a bright white blur. At certain times of the day, the glare will make the visitor invisible. I have had the device installed for 2 days and received 2 deliveries and didn’t see either one of the couriers. How a camera doesn’t have an exposure/contrast setting is hard to understand as the cheapest camera you can buy at Best Buy will have a contrast setting, just as the Lynx handheld gameboy did in 1990. Bottom line, you get what you paid for, don’t know why I had high expectations for a $99 dollar WiFi Cam, but the reviews on Best Buy definitely covered up the flaws I. This device. Can’t say the more expensive Ring devices are better as I haven’t seen one, but I wouldnt recommend this one unless the lighting around your front door remains constant.

Very good Wirefree doorbell camera. Just wish they made a wirefree one in 1080p, but I like it a lot.

Good equipment to have at your front door bell and camera you can communicate with the visitor.

720 camera looks horrible. Installed camera where my porch is and video looks too bright. So far I am not satisfied with product. NOT WATERPROOF. For an outdoor camera this is a huge flaw. So if your buying this product and installing it where it can get wet, DO NOT BUY. Nightvision works great, only positive. Will be returning ASAP. Will give ring doorbell 2 a try.

I have this Ring Door bell for 2 years and is the worse. I can’t believe that I spend money on this Ring Bell. Don’t buy it. Let me tell you why. During the 1st year of warranty the Ring door bell was having connections problems and the bottom where you press to ring the bell came completely off. I reach out to Ring and they troubleshoot the device but nothing got fix. They told me that they are going to look into it and they will contact me. Months went by and after the warranty expire they did not help me And they told me that they can give me a OUT OF WARRANTY DISCOUNT COUPON for the purchase of a new Device. They are garbage and the worse company ever. You will be wasting your time and money if you buy from them..
