Awestruck by the movie's effects and this deserves to be seen more than once. The double feature also makes it an affordable buy to complete the set.

Enjoyed this new version , the Ape running amok and it was a plan gone awry

With War for the Planet of the Apes recently released, this was a great BluRay Combo package for the price. It also came with $7.50 off a War movie ticket which was a great savings! The best thing about this series though is the evolution of Caesar as a character as he grows to become a leader, a protector, and a father. Also they are really different than the original films, even though they are prequels. They are very character focused. A must watch!

The Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a touching, serious depiction of the road to disaster being paved with good intentions. The Dawn continues from the first movie and is an absolutely outrageous depiction of gun-toting, horseback riding, tank operating primates unleashing their fury on the remnants of humanity. I'm sure the third will not disappoint in the sequel escalation department.

After watching part three in the series I immediately knew I HAD TO watch parts one and two. I almost purchased these movies individually. Instead, buying this two pack saved me money and offered the convenience of having both movies in the same package. Also, I transferred them into digital format to keep in my VUDU account.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite modern series of films. It outlines the journey of Apes before they ruled the world in the original PLANET OF THE APES. Andy Serkis delivered Vera AJ insanely powerful performance in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Definitely get these movies if you enjoy a deep story with emotion and action.

Loved them when I originally watched them in theaters but held off in purchasing. Decided to pick this up in preparation for War and to introduce my daughter to the films. She loved them nearly as much as me. Fantastic storylines and acting. Really looking forward to the conclusion.

I really love this Planet of the Apes reboot. The storyline is strong and the acting is amazing. With these movies they keep getting better with each sequel! I enjoy these movies very much and my Mom who's a big fan of the original movies, loved these movies!

I had to watch them both before I went to see the 3rd one at the theater and since satellite wanted to charge me, I figured I'd just buy them together and be done with it. Lots of great extras. Andy is the king of motion capture.

Having only seen the first movie this was a great deal at $9.99. The picture was incredible and the sound was just as impressive with room rumbling bass! This is a definite must have!

for the price and when you include the movie rewards that allowed money off the new WAR movie the value was excellent and we really enjoyed being able to watch both movies before seeing the third.

These are two good ones, a cut above the typical movie in this genre. Characters you will care about with great action and a story to go with it. The Blu-ray quality is excellent too.

It's funny how these movies can get someone to turn against humanity. The start to an awesome trilogy (War is great, too). These movies explore the conflict from different angles.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes/Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a must have 2-disc set! An excellent addition to any collection! Just as entertaining as all the original movies!

Both movies have a good story. The characters are great, especially Caesar and Koba. There's also plenty of action. I liked the scientific approach they took to the apes.

Both Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes are fantastic movies. Definitely recommend adding this two-pack to the home movie library.

Great movie, it has awesome graphics and I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends. It was a good deal too for two when I got this blue ray.
