This is a well acted movie.The action is very well done and the plot is wonderful. It was a different take coming from a soldiers perspective. It really is a great movie to watch with family.

Many films about Jesus and the resurrection are mediocre to terrible. This one is not. RISEN also has a unique perspective - the events take place from the POV of a nonbeliever.

Excellent movie. It took some artistic license in the story line (it looked into an area the Bible does not directly address) but the makers of the film stayed true to the message of Christ.

Regardless of your viewpoint on Christ, you'll love this film. It takes a unique aspect on Jesus and his disciples. If you have faithin him, this will upgrade it further. Buy It!!

I love this movie . It was so well done and Joseph Fiennes was incredible . Love the perspective through the eyes of a non believer which is a perspective I would never know. Very powerful

Love this movie. I bought it the day it came out. Unfortunately I've only watched it once cuz all family members have taken it to watch it too. Good story line and a different perspective.

This film is a big improvement on the usual Christian movie. True its still produced and created by a higher budget studio, but it sets a new standard for that market of films.

I bought this movie for my mother, a church going women who found the movie interesting. It made her think about some things about the resurrection she hadn't thought about before.

Risen is a great take on the life of Jesus' followers after his crucifixion. Comes from the POV of Clavius the Tribune, I recommend this movie even if you aren't a Christian.
