I enjoyed this movie very much. It is well done and the acting is great. The people are believable in the parts they play. The story lines are easy to follow. All In all it is very entertaining.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, buy it now. Go ahead. Buy it. It's one of my favorites. The Crucifixion and Resurrection told from the Roman soldier's point of view. You'll love it.

Risen is an excellent movie. Everyone should see it as Jesus is coming back and this tells the story of after He rose from the grave and spent time with His disciples.

My family and I watched the movie together. We discussed how pretty accurate the movie was. It is awesome if you enjoy the documentary style movie. If you have faith, truly believe and read the Bible, you will enjoy this movie!

The movie is both well done and the photography is outstanding. The acting is not overdone and you become very interested in story line relatively early in the movie. Of course the subject of the movie is fascinating as always.

This is a good movie to have in the ever growing movie collection ... An enjoyable movie to own to see when you need a good movie fix!! Here's to continuing growing movie collections and finding larger movie shelves! Keep on watching!

I waited a year to see this released in the movie theaters. I'm more than happy to have in my video library now. The story of a Roman solider who is searching for the truth about Jesus is very interesting. The acting is excellent.

I do so enjoy these movies where the view of the opposing side is explored. Of course, anything having to do with Roman times I especially enjoy. I even purchased an extra copy to give to my parents as they enjoy this genre as well.

I was worried about this movie but it was absolutely wonderful production! I was really stunned with the cinematography and acting. This is a well made movie! Worth every nickel of purchase and theatre view! Great job all around!

This is a good movie which shows the side of a Roman during the death and rising of Jesus. Decent story and it shows some things not really depicted in movies on the subject matter before. Worth at least one watch.

I love The Passion, The Robe, and Ben Hur (The Original) gave unique perspectives around the crucifixion of The Christ. The videography and script are top notch. It was definitely worth my purchase.

Excellent take on the Resurrection from the Roman's point of view. Dealt with like a detective or CSI story. You could almost see it happening this way. Joseph Fiennes is perfectly cast and Tom Felton is great.

Didn't really know what to expect for this film, I've heard good things and I've also heard bad things and I'll be honest this was a really good well made film hands down great pasting and never missed a beat. A must watch

This video captures the death and resurrection of Jesus from the eye of one specific character. Although some artistic license was taken, it is done in such a way that allows all who watch it to be transformed...

Very good movie. It approaches Christ's resurrection from the perspectives of the Zealots, the Romans, and the Sanhedrin. Each with their own agenda. It also portrays Jesus' apostles and close followers as real people.

Excellent story and acting adds more to the Mythos The Man Called Jesus Christ and those who were involved in the crucifixion you will appreciate and like this movie great story backdrops and acting

Missed the mark with several scenes, the Ascension of Christ being the most glaring. The Roman perspective was a very interesting, although a great many "creative" liberties were taken, point of view.

Liked the viewpoint the movie took and focused on just a single person how his life was affected. The fear of the Jews being occupied by the Romans was one of the more accurate portrayals of that time period.

Excellant movie~~~purchasing in Blu Ray is worth the value, because the scenes are vivid and real. The movie is gripping, and I was impressed with how they displayed the relationship with Jesus and His disciples.

A refreshing take on how the resurrection of Christ affected those around Him, especially silly the occupying soldiers. Production is very good. Script is very good. A great addition to any Christian library
