I bought this case for my iPad Pro when the expensive ($99), Zagg Folio, with keyboard case broke!! I have been pleasantly surprised that not only has it provided protection for my iPad but also seem to be constructed than the Zagg Folio was ( the cheap hinge on the Zagg broke ). As an added bonus, this new cas was on the clearance table and I only paid $6.99!! Although the price on this case was minimal, the quality was exceptional! It even has a pivot point built in to permit ease in changing the orientation of the iPad. All the access holes were correctly oriented for the iPad buttons and switches. Goes to prove that a high price (Zagg Folio) doesn't guarantee high quality.

This case is constructed well and I like the 360 rotation you can use with it. While the smart cover can open and close the Ipad automatically it is not as sturdy as this cover. However with this cover you have to click the iPad off before you close it. With this case the iPad locks into it unlike the smart cover that detaches and you can drop your device. I believe this cover is more protective of your device

The case fits perfectly. I like the fact that you can turn it around and it holds up by itself. The case will protect my Ipad because its a hard case. But I wish they would add a camera hole because I have to turn my IPad around to take a picture and I'm getting tired, I just want to be able to click on camera and take a picture.

I bought this cover because we have Rocketfish covers for other iPad products-- Mini, iPad 2. No matter how much we used (and abused) the product -it protected the iPads. So iPad Air has the same protection and versatile stand now. Great Buy at Best Buy.

Previously bought a case with bluetooth keyboard included, but I found that I do not like using a keyboard with my iPad; although the typing is easier, without a mouse or trackpad, I still have to touch & swipe the screen. I did not find moving back and forth from keyboard to screen to be convenient. So, I bought this simple and straight-forward iPad case. It protects the iPad, folds so that I can use it tilted or folded like a book, and swivels to landscape or portrait mode. I use the iPad's on-screen keyboard and it is not a problem for me. The only quibble might be the lack of a latch or cord to hold the cover closed, but so far, I've had no problem. For a simple cover, I find this to be ideal.

Previously had an 1 pad one and could not find a case that would stand the iPad "taller". After purchasing the iPad air I wanted something with this feature? This case works perfectly for that. You can also take pictures while still in case.
