    Good arm band overall

Overall, a good arm band for iPhone 4/4s. The main thing to consider is that there is no plastic cover on the front which could be an issue in bad weather. At the same time, the lack of cover made it easier to accurately control the phone while running.

    Bad Design

Looks cool but it's a poor design, no hole for the charging connection, if you have any other case (ANY) you have to take out to put the iphone in this band (every time) ; cannot fit it around your hand 'cause there's no enough velcro (thinner people might have a problem too). Only buy it if it's dirt cheap...mine is going back to the store...

Does its job, would not have paid full price, but at half price with free shipping, I did not and would not go into store for Black Friday sales, it was a good vallue.

    Very hard to use

This case seems good, but it is very poorly designed. It is very hard to get the phone in and out. There's a slit in the back that you slide the phone into, but it's about an inch down from the top, so once you slide it in, you have to pry this inch of fabric back over the top of the phone, and it's really a pain. Another downside is that the armband is connected to the case, so you can't take just the phone and case off--you either slide the phone out or carry around the entire armband (when you're not working out). Another issue is the volume buttons are completely blocked, as is the top button (though with the top button, you can push down on the outside of the case, and it usually works--with the volume buttons being on the side, that isn't so easy). I do like that there's no plastic on the front, so you have direct contact to the screen. I actually haven't run with it yet, but I know when I do, I'll have several minutes invested in just getting the phone in and out.

Too difficult to manipulate while walking

I thought that this would be a great way to free up my hands while walking but it ended up being more of a nusance to have to change stations or try to view my Iphone. Its easier to just hold it in my hand. I returned it.

good product idea with some flaws

i used to work at best buy and i am a very avid gym buff. when most people at gyms use armbands its usually because they are only running. i use the armband for lifting with my iphone 3gs too. this product is unique because it is one of the only 3gs armbands i could find. this product is also awesome because it allows you to use a [(incase)-or some cases] attached to the i phone and it will still fit inside the armband perfectly. -there is one drawback though. it pertains to the buckle that u can loosen and tighten on the band to fit to your arm. the buckle will eventually start to warp and it makes tightening the armband an annoying task. one thing to remember is that although few armbands will support the 3g you can still use select certain iphone 4g armbands and it will support a 3g phone but with no room for a case.

    DON'T USE

So I purchased this product thinking Rocketfish makes a quality product. The first time I used this product I ran 4 miles, then took it off, removed the phone, then took a shower. After my shower I noticed my iPhone kept saying headphones were plugged in and the sound would not work. No matter what I did I could not get the sound to work. It took about 8 hours before the phone fixed itself. I thought it was just a fluke and was happy my phone started to work again. The second time I used this, I ran 5 miles. I did the same thing, took the phone out and unplugged the headphones. Once again the sound didn't work and phone thought headphones were plugged in all day, and the camera just stopped working. Even though the sound came back the camera was just broken. I took the phone to apple and they told me I have water damage inside my phone. I was lucky it was only in the headphone jack and not the 30 pin connector or they would not of honor my warranty. So if you wear this and sweat from a good workout, don't use this or it WILL destroy your phone.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for with this armband case. At $20, this is seemingly a good buy. It does an good job of keeping your iphone on your arm while you run at first. However, sliding the iPhone 3G in and out of the case only a few times causes the neoprene to bend and become distorted. I can't imagine using this armband case more than 10 times without it becoming so out of whack that the iPhone might slip out the next time I use it. A cheap material was used to make this case. Furthermore, there is no access to any external iPhone buttons (sleep, volume, ringer) and even the headphone jack hole is slightly off enough from the iPhone jack that it becomes a nuisance to stretch the material to plug in a headset. I would spend the extra $10-$20 and get a different armband case that won't start to bend, especially since you will be taking your iPhone in and out of the case 100s of times for use.

I've tried several other armbannds for the iPhone and none of them have been as good as this one. Easy access to you touch screen and the molded case securely holds your phone. I love it!!!

The price and look are ok, but whenever you tighten the band it twists and digs into your arm. Switching to the broken, better design.

Ok, i love the price of this item compared to other armbands and i really didnt have much choice, the only iphone armband in the store. So im getting ready to go running and i put the armband on and it doesnt fit, and i cant adjust it any further, great. My advise, take it out and try it at the store. And im not sure why there isn't more of a selection of iphone armbands bc the iphone 3gs comes with nike+ipod pre installed.

This is NOT a good armband for iphone. When putting on, the velcro gets stuck on clamp. Bends very badly when in use. It's like it wasn't even designed for the iphone. Kudos to Best Buy for the "no questions asked" return policy. Do not buy this. If you do, you will be disappointed.

The opening that allows one to insert the iphone is incredibly tight... so much so that I found it almost impossible to use. A second one we purchased actually had the opening cut in the BOTTOM of the iphone pouch. Both were returned.
