We didn't want a mount that stretches forward because the viewing area of the room is somewhat small, so this mount is perfect because it has the tv mounted very close to the wall. It has tilting capabilities, but we keep it exactly as the Geek Squad techs installed it. (By the way, I HIGHLY recommend the Geek Squad to come out and mount your tv- very knowledgeable, and professional!)

By the time they installed it the installers made the comment that this was a great tilt wall mount that was very effective for what our needs were. I can tilt it down, flat right or left which works perfectly for my living room about the fireplace.
