This was the only one they had in stock that would fit our new TV. One of the Best Buy floor people said it was a good mount or we could order one. Since we didn't want to wait we bought it. It's a no frills mount that was easy to install and seems to work just find. I'd buy it again.

Installers should pay attention to two design quirks: First, the slots for lag bolts cannot accommodate a stud centered behind the mount (without drilling the bracket); for this reason, the plate may need to be placed off center with the TV shifted the opposite direction (not a big deal if the TV is large enough to cover the bracket plus the offset). Second, the tv arms are very easy to snap onto the plate, but require 4 hands to release - 2 hands to hold the tv and 2 hands to pull 2 release tethers simultaneously.

Mount for RV?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have put 3 of these in my house and they are hands down the best mounts on the market in my opinion for ease and quality of install. The first one I did, I took my time and made sure I was doing it perfect and took about an hour. After I have installed a few I can do it in under 30 minutes easily. But if ur reading this and thinking of installing in an RV, the mount has no locking mechanism for side to side motion, so I'm a bit nervous to recommend for RV mount, it works, jus think next time I'd pony up the extra cash for an actual RV mount (300$).
