We needed to replace it so we could mount our new BestBuy 55" TV over the fireplace. This wall mount was recommended by the BestBuy associate and I'm glad they did. It was pretty easy to install and the TV is now securely attached.

Just make sure you locate your studs first. Nicely supports my 65 inch Samsung tv after my cat broke the old tv by knocking it off the stand. Highly recommend wall mounting

Exactly What Was Needed

We even were limited in wall space. We really didn't need much more than a device to hold the tv and allow up and down movement. The unit was exactly what we needed and easy to install. Of course bringing power up the wall to hide the cords was another story but this was the easy part.

Out of sight and out of mind

They hung the TV with this wall mount and it is as sturdy as can be. Slides back and forth and tilts, but has no extension from wall to really get behind to plug anything in after the fact. You need to put your head against the wall to see behind it. It is strong and very hidden indeed and makes the TV look great.

With other tilted wall mounts I have used the hardest part was aligning the TV with the brackets on the wall so the TV sits perfectly. This wall mount allows you to just place the TV on the mount and than move it so it sits perfectly for the best viewing in the room.
