The wall I am putting this on is a basement non load bearing wall so the studs are 24 inch apart. Googled the fix. Use a sturdy piece of wood that spans a few inches extra on each side of the space needed and secure this to the wall first, then secure the TV to it. I was concerned about the ability to reach the connectors but the 3/4 inch wood should bring it out a little bit to make that easier as well.

Good wall mount for tv.

Doesn't stick out too far and is good if you don't like the movable wall mounts. However, if you do need to mess with cables on the tv it doesn't give a lot of room to maneuver.
