Solid simple wall mount

Neither are going anywhere. :) I'm actually not using the tilt while watching TV, but being able to tilt the TV while mounted makes plugging in cables much easier. The width of the mount also makes it easy to hit wall stubs.

In my view a good bracket should swing left and right for a more flexible viewing experience. It should also allow the TV to be pulled away the wall for easy connection of cables to sound systems or DVD players. Currently the bracket doesn't provide enough room to easily make connections to the back of the TV

Was a little nervous setting it up but it appears to be remarkable stable, even behind my novice handymanship. The only complaint I have is that this mount is so close to the wall. While a lot of people like that, the low profile makes it nearly impossible to reach the back ports beyond sliding my hand back and wishing for the best. I guess it is a small trade off, but for TVs with ports only in the back - like mine - then it is a larger nuisance. Oh and this mount works with the Samsung KU6300 I bought.

I generally use my own toggle bolts, but recently did a mount over a fireplace where i hit studs on both sides. That was just as easy. Best part is the ability to tilt the screen this was key in mounting overa fireplace mantle to have a clean view when seated
