This is one of the only games I play on the PS4. I still suck at the guitar but it's really fun trying!

Great fun way to learn to play the guitar and easy to learn

Awesome library of tracks and DLC. Removable fret stickers included to aid in the learning process. Just wish there was a wireless adapter you could plug into the guitar with a USB dongle for the PS4. Sometimes the game didn't register fret hits no matter how hard the string was pressed but overall great game.

I am using this to teach myself to play guitar and have shown improvement in a very short time.

Rocksmith is so incredibly easy to use. I was able to plug into the ps4 and start immediately.

On sale for $31.00 . Awesome deal. I bought two of them , one just for the second cable for multiplayer. 62 bucks for two. They were regularly 79 plus tax. Awesome.... buying a second cable was the same price on amazon. This game is for real musicans . Not some color coded fingerboard. This uses a real guitar, real strings and has a tuner in the game. The most real guitar game I've ever played. Nice game...

This game is the best way to learn guitar if you have no time for real classes.

We also have the first version Rocksmith 2013 for PS3. We actually like the first version better. Easier to tune guitar and explanations of how to play seem simpler. Everthing else is fairly similar. Requires lots of practice and patience if you are a beginner.

Though I was initially impressed with Rocksmith's interface and features, a couple of hurdles severely hampered my enjoyment of the product. For one, the game is virtually unplayable if you are running the audio from your PS4 via HDMI due to severe input lag. Once I got an Optical Audio cable and ran the sound directly to my sound bar. The situation greatly improved. The other major problem I have is that, as someone who has played for years and learned by reading tablature, the game's note highway seems completely counter-intuitive. Obviously it's a matter of unlearning the old and embracing a new system but you should be forewarned that, in this case, prior knowledge can be bad thing. Otherwise Rocksmith is a well-made and feature rich product with enough options to tailor it to your needs. I bought the game on sale for $40 and despite some frustration, I am happy with my purchase.
