I was using PlayStation Vue for my TV viewing until they went out of business. I did free trials of Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV and I decided YouTube TV (channels I like and unlimited DVR). I can watch YT TV on my PS4 but I decided to get a Roku Stick because I like the remote (instead of using PS4 controller) and I like all the other streaming apps/channels on the Roku. There is so much free content plus I can access all my paid content like Disney+, Netflix, VUDU, Apple TV, etc. Great picture, and I’ve never had a problem with network connectivity. I also love how portable the Stick is, we have a time share so we can take all of our content to the mountains. Just connect to WiFi at the condo and we’re good to go.

Because my Samsung smart TV decided to no longer support the MLB.TV channel, I had to get streaming device. After doing some research, I had decided on the Roku Streaming Stick. After checking around for the best price, I found Best Buy had the upgraded version with voice control and headphones on sale and was the same price as the one without headphones. I ordered it online and it was delivered to my house in 2 days. It was easy to set up and after signing into my various streaming accounts, it was up and running in 15 minutes. I can now watch streaming services and many other channels I did not know about thanks to Roku's recommended channels.

We have two Roku streaming sticks and like the set up and service. While we initially thought the stick was draining the batteries too quick, that seemed to no longer be a problem after Roku reprogrammed it. I like that it has voice recognition, very handy.

Preordered this. Really happy with it. Packaging was well laid out; batteries, instructions, Stick, Controller, earphones, even included a Roku decal..Controller is heavier than other roku model controllers..guess as it has a headphone adapter. (This is my first model with headphones to compare weight of controller.) Super easy to install. Pretty much plug in back of HDMI to TV and Power cord in wall and set TV to HDMI 1 or whatever input you put it in and there is Roku... sign in. Really nice high def pic, fast loading apps. I like that I can take it when we travel, so I have my channels wherever we go.

The roku stick gives me the freedom from cable tv. Its so worth the price of the unit. It gives me access to streaming tv programs and premium channels. I can also take it anywhere with Wifi access.

I use this at hotels while traveling, works really well and headphone lets me use later when my wife is asleep. Only negative is that it can be difficult to get it to pair to their TV at times, but I've always succeeded with determination.

We do not have a smart TV so we need Roku to be able to stream from Netflix, prime, etc. So easy to install and love the headphones for use after everyone is in bed for the night except me.

My wife and I don’t regularly watch TV, so we don’t have a TV in our house. We have a projector for when we hook up our computers or iPad to stream movies. Because our projector (Eason Home Theater 1060) has an onboard speaker, it takes the audio from whatever source is plugged in and outputs to its own speaker. So we always connect the source device to our Altec Lansing Omni Jacket Ultra (via AUX in) which provides amazing sound. We were originally looking for some kind of HD antenna to pick up local news broadcasts (the day before Thanksgiving) to play the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade but we would’ve had to get a digital tuner box ($49) since the projector doesn’t have an antenna in, AND we would’ve had the sound stealing issue where the projector outputs the audio to its own speaker. After looking around for 30 minutes in store, my wife found this Roku device with AUX output capability from the remote. Needless to say, we were overjoyed! And it helped us save about $45 (vs. Antenna + Tuner). Set up was a breeze and Roku provides a QR code that you can scan with your phone camera to help set up and activate the device on your account. What we didn’t realize until an hour into the parade broadcast was that you need to sign up for Peacock streaming to get the LIVE broadcast from NBC. We were able to quickly sign up for that ($4.99/month at the time) and get the channel onto Roku, so were able to watch the rest of the parade. The only thing downside with this set up is that since the Aux cable stays plugged in all the time, the remote batteries run down pretty quickly (about a week of charge for around 2 hours a day with the provided AA batteries). Fortunately, we have a load of rechargeable batteries at our disposal.

This is great. Headset should be a plus if you need silence in the environment sometimes. Great usability and almost never restart (all Sw has issues)

We have multiple Roku streaming stick between our 2 homes. This one especial useful in the bedroom when one person wants to sleep.

Been using Roku devices for years. I love the fact they are quick and easy to set up. I love that this model has the earbuds Jack in the remote which I use a lot. The Roku stick eliminates a lot of wires that are visible with other streaming devices. Saw them on sale at Best Buy for $39 and bought two,. One for my daughter and one as a spare. This model with earbuds is only available through Best Buy. I highly recommend.

This thing is nice for the price. It’s pretty basic and that equals easy to use. The remote with the headphone jack is a cool idea too. Great picture and sound.

I have the Roku Premiere and Ultra on my other two TVs and purchased this for our newest smart TV. It works great and I love the ability to control our TVs via the Roku app remote on our iPhones. This was super easy to setup and I like that it's portable as well if we need to take it with us when traveling. The ability to plug in a headphone to the remote is handy when you have guests that want to stay up to watch TV. Overall the Roku user interface is so much simpler and easier to navigate than the native interfaces that come on the smart TVs.

Its Roku.. good video quality and ease of use. though the longer kinda sticks out and I had to use extension cable to hide it

Just had a few days but this is a great stick / remote combo. Set up pretty quick & easy. Remote has some heft to it vs. my old Roku that I received free with Sling years ago. During setup it upgraded from 720 to 1080 (I have a good old Sony 46") which improved picture. Nice feature to be able to control on/off and volume of the TV with the Roku remote. It is much faster booting up, changing channels, etc. Price was competitive plus Best Buy delivered in only one day!

This Roku streaming stick works well but cannot be powered by our Samsung Smart TV's USB port and requires and AC connection. We chose this one because it has a headphone jack and volume controls on th2027e remote which is handy instead of having to juggle a couple of remotes. The headphone jack is very useful as it allows a viewer to enjoy a program without disturbing others. Unfortunately the batteries supplied with the remote failed after less than a month even though the shelf life was rated through 2027. Otherwise we would have awarded five stars.

Nice solid streaming device that is easy to use and supports HD, 4K, HDR. What's also nice is that the stick versions get their power right from your TV; i.e. no separate power adapter required (but you can use the USB power adapter that comes with it one if you want to). And it's very portable - easy to take it with you when you travel (due to small size) and hook it up to any modern TV. Can even leave the remote at home and control it using the Roku app on your cell phone.

Utilizing the afore mentioned Roku stick to stream YouTube TV on an older model Samsung 65” TV. Relatively good picture and audio, super easy to set up even for Yukon Pete. Hey, I even configured the Roku remote to power on my surround sound and the TV so no need to keep track of 3 different remotes in the igloo as these items energize with one simple push of the Roku power button. You know, Yukon Pete is no techie, but I must go on and brag a little, I can also control my surround sound volume from this remote. Look at me go. No complaints so far, at least about the Roku product. Stay chill.

I absolutely love this Roku model. It's completely hidden behind the TV as it's connected through the TV's USB port, so no ugly cable dangling. I use it with my headphones if I watch a movie late at night, you can connect directly on the remote with the headphone's jack, or by Bluetooth. Nice if you don't want to wake up others or bother your neighbors. It's also fun to be able to talk to the remote to tell it to open an app like Netflix or Hulu. Really awesome streamer.

Love this stick! I already have the Ultra and the old Roku 2? with the ethernet port. The stick is very fast with 4K but was giving overheating messages after an hour or so. Checked Roku support and they offered an HDMI dongle to extend the device away from the TV. Worked great! Problem solved. Only some TVs that have the HDMI conn behind. Edge TVs are normally OK.
