Easy to set up and start streaming. Makes streaming a lot easier with apps all in one place

The new 2025 Roku Streaming Device is the best one that they have made yet. I never could get the old Roku Sticks to work as they usually said "Not enough power" so I always had to return them but I bought 3 of these and they all work perfectly and are even easier to set up compared to the older ones.

Perfect for my needs. I bought a tv with a great 5 year warranty but came with the fire platform. I much prefer the Roku layout plus I can add Spectrum streaming app. Easy setup and works just like my other Roku tv. Couldn’t be happier and bonus it was on sale!

We have ALL models of the Roku sticks and ultras on 7 TVs in our home. Very easy to use, simple and easy interface and using these takes some of the effort off the TV itself. Meaning in many cases apps may function eve better since they are being run through Roku and not the TV thus it can dedicate more to its internal processing of what you are watching, upscaling, etc.

This is a replacement for my previous roku when the old remote failed. The price of remote ONLY was almost as much as a entire new roku so I opted for new. The new remote has had difficulty pairing with the tv, but I have been able to get it to work - it has lost the paring several times and I had to re-pair it which required several attempts each time. I like the new unit, but did not realize I would need to reload every channel that I had on the old roku and sign-in again to each. Perhaps this would be a consideration for the remote ONLY pricing vs the New roku.

I <3 my Roku. I had been meaning to get a spare to replace a very, very old first edition. I stayed in a hotel that advertised that it had streaming available, but the remote on the TV would not allow me to switch the input and therefore had no streaming just cable. ( to be honest I think they were streaming the cable TV, but it didn’t have YouTube.). So I went to Best Buy and bought the Roku and now it’s going to travel with us everywhere in case the next hotel does not have it, but has Wi-Fi. This product was very, very easy to set up, especially since we already had an account.

Excellent streaming stick. I have a bunch of Roku devices and needed to get something less obtrusive for a tv going on the wall. Takes power from the TV’s USB port, so there is no additional wire to deal with, works very well and if it goes into older TV with slower CPU, this little stick makes the old and slow TV fast and snappy again

Samsung decided to stop supporting some apps (like MLB) on older TVs, and I was resigned to buying a new one, even though the picture on our current TV is still fine. I didn't want yet another remote, but when I realized I could operate the TV's essentials -- on/off, volume, and choose a streaming service -- from the Roku remote, I figured, why not? The Roku is great. Loads apps faster than the TV did, the menu is easy to navigate, the old TV remote is in a box somewhere, and I saved a few hundred dollars. (P.S. For power, I plugged it into a wall outlet. The stupid TV kills the USB power when it's off, which thus shut down the Roku as well.)

Guys, I have to stand corrected on resisting buying this item. It really did help an old TV that I had with slow internet service. The remotes all tied into the 1 Roku remote and life's been good. I would recommend paying extra for the nicer stick.

This is our fist time with the Stick. We have always had the small Rokus that sit in front/below the TV edge. Impressed with how well this picks up the house Wi-Fi signal. it shows a stronger signal strength than the previous Roku did. It does seem to load the apps faster, which Roku lists in the specs. Set-up is always easy, with Roku walking you through the necessary steps.
Be sure to check the physical location of the USB port you intend to use, you may need an extension cable or angle adapter of some kind. Ours was a little tight to get to, but that's the TV, not the Roku. The stick itself is small enough that it isn't visible in the front, and it cuts out having an additional HDMI cord in the jumble we already have.

My Smart Tv was locking up when streaming Paramount Plus. Haven’t had any issues since we started using ROKU. I would like it better if the remote had the backlit option.
