Back lighting is nice during evening use. I miss the ear phone plug in feature but overall it has eliminated freeze up after fast forward.

Several times a week there is no picture and I have to reset the Roku which becomes annoying. There is also a question of longevity or maybe planned obsolescence as this is my third Roku in three years. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides a great picture. It gets 5 stars for being user-friendly and picture quality but loses some stars for resetting and longevitity.

Please try to check the HDMI cables. If they are firmly plugged into the TV, it's best to plug them into the HDMI ARC for the best audio and quality picture, ensure that the device is running with the latest software version by going to Settings> System > Software update. It's also best to test the device on a different TV to see if it has the same issue.

Conflict with existing Smart TV and Roku continue--- More time needed to learn how to manage both remotes effectively and to get Google products to be recognized by both platforms. Both systems seem to despise Google.

It has a lot of free channels which will enhance your tv experience. Picture quality is good. You can control your tv with the Roku, sound too.

Very responsive, has HDR capability, and 4K streaming. The remote has voice control and is illuminated. Would totally buy another one. Plus, it's not too expensive, yet if you get it on sale, it's an even better value.

I have it connected to a receiver which outputs video the a projector and audio to a 5.1 speaker system. I like Roku. this is their high-end unit and it works very well. If you are considering a purchase you should consider your need for the device. If you are buying. TV prices continue to drop dramatically and smaller TV's are cheaper than this Roku so if you have an older TV it might be cheaper to just get a new TV with Roku (or whatever) built into the TV. I am certain Roku knows this so I expect the price for all of their products to start dropping as the TV prices drop.
