The Roku system is easy to use. The only backdraw for me so far is the low quality of the screen reader voice for the blind/visually impaired but otherwise so far so good.

Upgraded from Roku Ultra (2020 or 2021) model. Do see some performance increase.
Do have an issue with Youtube flashing a black screen when transitioning from video to video. Did not have this issue wirh previous model and have updated Roku OS, tried different HDMI cables and ports.
Hi Carlos, thank you for sharing your experience. Does this problem happen on the entire channel? One possible cause could be your Wi-Fi connection. We suggest you unplug your Wi-Fi router for at least 60 seconds to reset it. Then, could you restart your Roku device? You can do this by going to Home > Settings > System > System Restart. I have three of these. I have decided to cut the cable and now get all my TV by . The ultra Roku does a great job.

I cut my cable several years ago and have been using a Roku Ultra for several years. One ultra unit has to be re-set because while the unit still works, the sound cuts completely off so decided to replace it with a new unit.

This was an excellent upgrade to my wife's flat screen TV. It makes it easy for her to switch between apps to find her programming. The TV either did not have the apps she wanted in their selection, or the processor in the TV was slow and 'clunky'. Either way, this was a great alternative, because ROKU TV offers some very good options to the expensive streaming services

Best streaming device. Get the highest current audio and video possible. But please note your devices (TV, AVR, HDMI cables, etc) must be compatible to get these extra benefits (HDR10, etc). Dont worry, if you arent sure, it will stream at your equipments best video and audio. Remote is excellent with backlighting and usb charging. You can buy the remote seperately if you only want that item. Enjoy!

We bought this to use with an older smart TV that is very slow to launch into a service like Amazon Prime and pull up a show to get it ready to go. This Roku device solved that problem. It boots up very fast and launches into apps fast as well. It was easy to set up and add more apps onto it.
