Was having problems with Roku tv 'flashing'. Tried every setting and just couldn't stop it. I've read that the tv might have a computer that's just 'slow'. After researching, I decided to have an individual Roku for apps and allow the computer to strictly focus on the graphics. I had a Roku express already, but it seemed slow to respond. I bought the ultra and it was very noticably faster. The lighted remote was awesome if you watch tv at night in the dark. Better than turning it to the TV to see the buttons up close in the dark. Voice search is the BEST. No more typing in search bars. The ultra keeps track of all my apps and programs and I haven't seen one flicker of the tv since I bought the Roku. I read about that truck online also. Glad I purchased this. Plus, I don't need a line of sight with remote and unit. No more remote 'aimming'. This is the one to get off you're thinking of getting one. It's not really that much of a price increase for the features you'll be using for years. Spend the $50 extra and don't be mad at how slow the cheap one is . No one likes waiting after you press the remote buttons for some things to happen.

This is a high-end streamer in my opinion. Roku is very user friendly. This model is their fastest yet and it does not disappoint. It can handle all the sound types available including Dolby Atmos, all the HDRs and of course 4K, 1080p, 720p and 480. The remote looks slick backlit and I love that it’s rechargeable via USB-C. Holds a charge longer than the previous Ultra which I also own. The headphone jack is gone but I didn’t use it anyway. Bluetooth is available for wireless headphones. I recommend getting a case for the remote because streamer remotes tend to be slippery. A case will make it easier to grip and add protection and make it easier to find if you go for something other than black. I use purple for my Rokus and orange for my Firesticks. For my use this new Roku Ultra is a no brainer at a discount.

Great picture, easy to setup, I chose Ethernet over WiFi since I had a connection right there. I like the rechargeable & lighted remote as compared to the models that use AAA batteries. I would recommend.

Its easy to set up and the remote volume controls is a very good addition, no need to switch remotes or even have multiple remotes handy cluttering space. Try to catch it when on special and you got yourself a really great deal compared to the firestick etc

Works great, the backlight on the remote is fantastic, more companies should do that. These are simple little boxes, input a username and password and start streaming, app after app after app.. they just work.

Works flawlessly and is an improvement on the older Roku Ultra I was using. Easier to use than the Apple TV I also have.

Intended to cut the monopoly of Cable service, Good hard wire and/or WIFI streamer device, live local Networks channels not so, hate the asking to subscribe for everything, who remember the infinite user/accounts Ids and passcodes, let alone so annoying and invasive. This streamer good for those Non Smart TVs but you still need WIFI or Ethernet service. . With Roku you get hundreds of channels some useless, Sport channels mostly showing days behind replays or decades ago games. If you expect to watch Superbowl or FIFA 2026,dream on! If you location allows you, investing in a good outdoor antenna is a good option to be considered to watch local TV News, some worth it feature shows and available live Sports in local Fox, Univision,ABC,CBS,NBC,ION channels.

We have several Roku’s in our house with most of them being Roku Sticks but the Ultra is the best. Seems to be faster with more features and it fixed the problem I was having with a several years old Roku Premiere. For some reason it had stopped responding to my Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote so I decided to upgrade and the remote works fine and the additional features from the Ultra are great. The rechargeable remote is also the best thing Roku has done to their remotes. Love it!! Finding it on sale at Christmas time was a great bonus too.

This is the Roku to have if you use Roku as your main streaming platform. This provides an ethernet port if your Wi-Fi is not as good as it should be. A USB port to view images or videos from a flash drive, The best feature is the remote. The Voice Remote Pro 2. This allows you to enable and disable always on voice detection. It has a rechargeable battery (with included USB C cable) the buttons light up and it has a find me feature! The Roku itself is faster and more responsive than the regular Roku devices. It is a pleasure to use. The audio and video quality are excellent!

We cut cable and wanted to get the fastest device for channel changing. Connecting to ethernet makes the Roku really fast. Pretty easy/user friendly. I don't know why the little cloth "roku" tab needs to be part of the remote, however. Very disappointed in the "3 offers with purchase" offered. I haven't gotten any emails with codes, Best Buy chat gave me a different answer, a Best Buy employee at the store couldn't access anything for me and it wasn't listed anywhere within the Roku device set-up. I really wanted to try Apple and Fubo.

I really love my Roku ultra. I’ve had problems with the sticks overheating in the past, despite the extender connector, Roku provides to help alleviate this issue. The ultra is fast and dependable, and while I have had to restart mine on occasion, who hasn’t had that issue with your technology. Lol This one was actually a gift since the TV I purchased came with Google instead of Roku.

this replace an earlier version of the Ultra, supports about anything you could need, very easy setup, plus i hardwire mine for no buffering. Love the remote, has voice and ear plugs and it is backlit!!

Have used Roku products for over 12 years now. They all work great/easy setup, and this one is the most upgraded version. The clarity is worth it!

Great product, it’s fast paced reliable and l like the extra features you discover as you go. The backlight on the remote is great a welcome feature.
